Combinations - Carbamazepine / Tegretol

This girl I know has been taking Carbamazepine for some time now and she in is convinced there is a synergy with either clonazepam or melatonin. When taken alone there seems to be no psychoactive effect, but when taken with low doses of clonazepam (.5mg) and Melatonin (2mg) she sleeps for up to 12 hours, this does not happen with any of these medications when they are taken alone or without carbamazepine.

Also this girl I know had to take larger doses of all these medications one night due to her severe RLS and the buzz is similar to GBL, but more awake and with a tingling throughout her body. She did take GBL earlier in the night but it had worn off by the time these meds were taken. Just to clarify, this girl has never gotten a buzz off clonazepam alone.

There does not seem to be any contradictions when mixing carbamazepine with methamphetamine, GBL, MDMA or cocaine.

Only one quick thing to add, you might want to consider substituting oxcambamazepine for cambamazepine. Although you guys probably react fine to regular Tegretol (and it is cheaper), oxcambamazepine has a very similar profile (some think it actually has some advantages or enhancements), and the SAFETY profile, of course, is vastly improved. Even though one might react fine to cambamazepine, regular blood work is still indicated (something not usually necessary with Trileptal). You can either pay up the wazoo for it in states, or order it from united (UK). That's the only thing to add off top of my head. Intrigued to hear this unexpected enhancement, but not surprised one bit =) Take care and be safe! Cambamazepine (type) is not anything to be trivialized, and who knows the possible synergistic contraindications.
