Some questions about Ketamine

Swim has been using K about twice a month for over a year. He has found a few times that after a few hours of going at it, he cannot get the full effects anymore no matter how much K he sniffs. Is this normal? Shouldn't it still be possible to get in a K hole if you just do way more than before?

Also, swim has been finding himself having some weird thoughts when he is not on K and is wondering if his use of it is the reason. The main thing has been deja vu(events seem to have already happened before), but also thoughts that things are happening for some larger reason. Another has been, thinking that people he has never seen before look extremely familiar. Is swim going crazy or what?

Re: Some questions about Ketamine

SWIM used quite a lot of Ketamine over the last 5 years, so he thinks he knows quite a lot about this drug.
Yes, tolerance is quickly built up, but SWIY seems to be using it quite sparingly. Perhaps its because SWIY is insufflating it. Consider IM injection: Less is more! Way way more!

Regarding feelings of Deja Vu, deep portent, psychic abilities, etc: It goes with the K territory. Don't believe it! It's all in SWIY mind due to the effects of Ketamine. Believe SWIM, after shooting K straight for a week, he started thinking he was a psychic master and in coincidence control of his universe. Yeah, it seems real at the time, but it is no more real than usual. Again- its just SWIY brain under the influence of a diassociative anesthetic!

Re: Some questions about Ketamine

Probably just the irritation from the first lines is making the skin unable to properly absorb the k. Only way i've found around it is thinner lines broken to a fine powder and sniffed more carefully and slowly so as to evenly spead it so it can drain properly and not dry out the tissue. Also some saline or warm water every so many lines. Sorry that was so long.

Peace

Re: Some questions about Ketamine

Swim would agree with Doppey; insufflate slower and gently crush the ketamine as fine as possible. The tissue up there is very delicate and as Swiy can imagine, it's not used to having to absorb a large quantity of powder/crystals, hence it gets damaged.

As for the mental issues, Swim believes this just comes with ketamine use. If Swiy wants it to subside, take a break from the ketamine (also good for lowering tolerance).

That type of thought is very common with ketamine-- an integral part of it's effect on the mind. Very interesting as long as one dosn't get too involved take such thoughts/ feelings too seriously. The only way to keep things in perspective is, as SWILettish said, not to take it too often.
