Overdose - APAP Overdose.....READ PLZ

swim took 10 10/325 yesterday in about a 11 hour period. Thats only about 3.2G and not near the OD range. But swims be taking hydrocodone for 3 straight months daily if that matters. Not in big grams though. It started last night started to get a headache..figured swim took to much hydrocodone...wake up this morning have a fever of 101, no vomiting, feel kinda nausea, sweating. Scaring swim to death. swim called Poision Control and they said it doesnt seem to be a Tylenol OD since I only took 3.2G. Any of u swimmies think it could be a OD or mabey swim took to much yesterday and made swim sick

It doesnt sound like apap overdose. Most of the time no symptoms are present until 24 hours after your dose Most people get stomach cramps and/or vomit. But like I'm sure the other DF members will tell you Swim is not a doctor so if youre concerned and want to be extra careful go to the ER. I can tell you from experience that dose isnt lethal to most swimmers. If you have been drinking you might have concerns. This is what happens when all you swimmers have countless threads devoted to apap poisoning full of super rare cases and inaccurate info. I understand the ignorance of many out there about apap overdose but Swim has done doses of apap that according to most here would kill a horse sprinkled in during almost 4 years of solid everday use of about 2000 mg's apap and for 2 of those years he drank alcohol pretty regularly. Ive had Liver function tests run twice and once was just 3-4 months ago along with other simple bood work, everything has always come back healthy. Most likely you guys are doing more damage to your bodies by eating meat than you are by consuming 3000 mgs of tylenol.

Well temps down to like 99.5 and swim feels a little better. Hopefully it wasnt a APAP OD cause swim just took another 10/325 to see if will make swim feel better....scared swim like hell though...swims a hypercondriac anyway and then have this shit happen, swim always thinks the worst...so instead of a 24 hour bug that may have caused the fever and sweating, swim thinks its a OD from Tyelnol..

I think you'll be alright unless your liver was in really bad shape to begin with.

Unless swiy has a specific reason for not doing it then it would be better if swiy just got checked over. Boring answer and probably swiy is fine, swim has taken some serious amounts in the past, much much more than swiys dose and gotten away with it but everyone is different. Even the doctors couldn't adequately explain why swim didn't OD fatally. They just said they'd seen it before and swim was lucky.
Don't fuck with your liver too much as it will come in handy someday.

Swim has been taking 2K mg of APAP (Percs) daily for about 3 years. Recently a routine blood test showed Swim's liver was within normal limits. FYI.

ekly, maybe your body wanted more hydro and not getting them caused your little bug. seems like you take plenty of pills, you should really CWE.

True, coulda been a short term withdrawal type thing, but most believe they don't exist.
