so swim is going to their house to take it, but isnt sure what is best to do while under the influence. swim doesnt jsut want to sit there.. and doesnt want to just waste it by watching the lousy tv and dont think swim would be able to concentrate on a movie.. sooo .. sould people who arent us go somewhere? basically, what should swim lean towards doing for her trip? what do people who arent all of you do?? OPINIONS! |

Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
Pink and his friends have had some of the best trips they can recall watching old and new episodes of doctor who. Especially this last season this show is CRAZY intense, deeply interesting and mentally cosmic.
Another fun activity is creating, anything, once Pink and his friends set up a projector, hooked a computer up to it, had someone sit in front of it and another person draw on them in paint shop. Get some paint and some canvas (the bigger the better) and just go to town. Your friend will also find it very easy to become interested in just about anything. She will be able to come up with the greatest activities and just flow from one thing to another without even realizing it. |

Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
SWIM prefers the oudoors. Like going with friends into the woods with flashlights. They are like lazer beams in the night.

Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
A good nighttime tromp is the forest - far away from humans other than friends - is one of the best settings going. I fully agree with Lobsang (that burn-out). Just be sure SWIM has a nice, cheerful house to go back to that is easily accessible.

Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
watching the fluidy visual displays on your computer screen eg: from your windows media player or xbox with the light off while on lsd can create the room to have interesting atmospheres cos the images move & extend in to the air & the brightness & colours change. a nice bath listening to the silence, frequencies & heart pumping in the water whilst your head is half submerged, some good mood music not too loud 'melodical music' nothing heavy. that's all smurf can think of that's fun indoors...
as panthers & lobsang said outdoors is the best. watching the sun set or sun rise is a lovely experience, looking at various plants & trees & seeing them more lively whilst walking around is fun. you can also carry your ipod along listening to tunes while you're adventuring, just dont be walking near roads with cars & forget where you walking with your earphones on. Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
loud music, bright lights, secure environment. Disorientate yourself as much as possible and SWIY'll get the highest they've ever been. The music will provide all the visuals one could ever imagine possible if the dose is solid. SWIM finds that even at higher doses if he just sits silently and meditates or something like that he often forgets he's tripping and has to reach for the experience. Nature trips are nice too, but SWIM's not too much of an outdoors person--he tends to get paranoid. SWIM loves music and as much electricity and strangeness as is possible.
External stimulii is the way to go if you want to really get the most out of the experience, in SWIM's opinion. There's nothing quite like listening to "5D" by The Byrds cranked to 11 and feeling your whole body buzz and distort to the sound of the music; staring at a strobe light until it begins to project the most amazing neon ice cream movies of the apocalypse into your retinas. That SWIM is sure of. |

earth hmm thats a word not very often heard swim went to be in wildnerness the enclosure of being in a dwelling with artifical products that have been created have no meaning swim realized that in time nature is future in time all these buildings artifical material that has been created is of no signifigance swim realized that nature will always be here and all the artifical material that has been created will be decomposed and the earth will eat it back |

Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
Whilst comming up on LSD swim has found a program called G-Force to be amazing. G-Force is a 3rd party visualisation program for windows media player, the visualisations on it are a million times better than stardard media player ones. you can also put ur own pictures on it to make it a lot more trippy.
Swim finds anything that pleases your sensory inputs to be good - music, visualisations, trying different foods (fruit is good), sex. Try playing with temperature, for example, blow hot air onto your face with a hairdryer or something and watch the whole room heat up or stand infront of an airconditioning unit so everything goes cold. Swim found an audio file on the internet called Virtual Haircut, this is pretty much what it says on the tin, u put some headphone on and it sounds like some guy is cutting your hair while telling you how your ears work. listening to this without acid makes you feel the guys breath on the back of your neck, with acid its an experience in itself. i think they call this audible illusions, which reminds me to say optical illusions are amazing too(especially the black and white hypno wheel thing) Swim knows an illusion from when he was a little kid, you lay on the floor, belly down, and get someone to pull your arms up so your belly is no longer touching the floor, ge tthem to hold you there for 30 seconds then slowly put your hands down, it gives you the sensations that your arms have fallen through the floor, do this on acid and you will be 100 times more amazed. if all this fails you could always just go out and trip in the park or forest for a while |

Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
SWIM says
just don't do anything that involves sitting in front of a TV or on the internet. push it to the absolute maximum and then reach for more! do whatever it takes to get off as hard as possible... and please feel a speaker blaring the person's favorite song at least once. |

Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
Movies have provided some of SWIM's best trips, Alice in Wonderland, various Pixar movies, Nosferatu, Wizard of Oz; there are all sorts of good ones.
Forest walking is also very fun, but can be a little dangerous at night, just be careful SWIY doesn't trip. (haha, no pun intended...) Artistic things are also very fun - whether that be writing, drawing, music, anything SWIY desires. SWIM likes to write and color and design tattoos. |

Re: THINGS TO DO? opinions please.
It depends entirely on what kind of experience you want to have. You can have a visual-effect-ey, "trippy" experience in a light, fun way. You can also approach it as a profoundly life changing experience.
What you'll want to do on both of these experiences are completely different. For the first, you might want to: 1) Listen to music 2) Pop rocks, various foods 3) Talk to your friend 4) Play with various things. If you have an instrument, play that instrument. 5) Honestly, on LSD you really don't need much outside entertainment. If you close your eyes, you'll easily be entertained for 30 minutes by your mind and by the visuals. On the other hand, if you want to take the opportunity to really use the substance as a potentially life-changing experience, here's some things to try or think about: 1) Who are you, really? Are you a concept you form of yourself (ie. I'm an engineer, I'm Jessica who's in college, etc?) By what criteria do you define "you?" Is there an even deeper, more core you? Who (or - when you get to the real core level - "what") are you? 2) Meditate. In other words, come to the present moment and just experience the present moment as fully as possible, while letting your thoughts go. 3) Watch your thoughts. Watch your emotional energies. Watch where you shut yourself off, where you're afraid, where you're not expressive, where you're not playing at 100% in your life. The list goes on. For either case, I recommend: 1) Music. Even if you're going for a profound experience, listening to the right kind of music can really take you on an amazing ride through the universe and the meaning of existence. 2) Journaling. Writing during an LSD experience can produce amazing results. It also helps you remember all the realizations you have during the trip. If you want to take the intentionality to the next level, you can also set for yourself what kind of experience you want to have - Things to do and think about - Before hand, on paper. Then write about what you gained the next day. Cheers, - D |
