Erasing a criminal record

Well as you know swim was arrested for possession of a class A drug with intent to supply. Even though all swim did was to import cacti chips and the case was droped with zero charges of any kind.

Anyway now swim has finished university doing his pharmacology degree.
The problem swim has here is that many places want a criminal records check a CRB before swim can work.

Swim wants to know will this show up on any check as it may effect what work swim can do. If it does can swim have this information removed in anyway ?

As swim thinks its unfair that he has never been in trouble with the law and just because of the stupid pointless raid swim might have work problems. Especialy when class A drugs are mentioned, which makes things sound really bad.

Anyone got any advice ?
