swim recently acquired some 15 mg Dexedrine SR tablets. swim was wondering if there were ANY way to make them kick in faster. SWIM has tried crushing and snorting, crushing and parachuting, it still takes 1-3 hours to take effect. in fact, it seems not to matter at all that the material is being crushed or even for that matter taken out of the pill in terms of subjective effect and onset. swim assumes they are SR because they are mixed with something highly basic to slow down the metabolism of the drug. could one say make a solution of balls in a strong citrus juice perhaps with a touch of rectified alcohol and have an instant release solution?

seeking some more enlightened and experienced guidance, and am thankful for any offered.

swim got bored waiting for an answer swim mixed together a 15% solution of hcl, nuetralized it with NaOH, caught it with DMC, then reformed as hydrochloride salt. weight lost 12 mg out of 210 mg.

note: still flaky & needlelike.....was looking for a crystal, should swim try fractioning?

You must be doing something wrong because SWIM crushes his and it always works fast.

Are you sure you've got dextroamphetamine? If it is, crushing to a fine powder and dissolving in water (perhaps warm to speed dissolution) should be perfectly effective.

Use an online pill-identifier to make sure you've dex. It sounds to me that you've got something else. Possibly vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)?

crushing in warm water and swallowing speeds up absorption, to a noticeable effect? SWIM has had trouble with the Dextroamphetamine causing any euphoria and SWIM is actually feeling the med is causing SWIM to become tired? 60mgs./day will soon be coming to an end and SWIM would like to feel what SWIM remembers from "days gone by." Soap opera of SWIM's life!

Yeah all this SWIM stuff makes it more confusing. But if you are talking about the little like orange and black balls inside the pills , then that def is dexie. I used to take that stuff all the time. Really no way to make it come up faster , if crushing didnt work. I think its just the mechanism of action or your biochemistry. Dextro-Amph is a different chemical, its longer acting, not like methylpenidate which lasts like 20 min..... so it will naturally take longer to kick in. Although 3 hrs, maybe all the speed ingesting is impairing SWIY's percecption of time...!!

There are reasons for the acronymns. A sentence such as "I used to take that stuff all the time" is an incriminating statement and against the rules, simple as that. All check that box accepting the rules. It's not very confusing with experience. SWIM has round tablets, instant release might be the term, still there is no euphoria, just keeps SWIM awake in a car. Otherwise it is sleepy time like a baby! Thought there would be a simple way to make methamphetamine from it but
