Effects - Half dose of MDMA?

Swim is pretty new to all of this, she took mdma at a festival, and loved it, so brought one dose home to take at a later date. However, swim offered to split the dose with her boyfriend, as he seemed somewhat interested in the effects.

Swim was expecting her boyfriend to decline, but so far he is still considering it.

So what would be expected from half a dose of mdma crystals? Swim and her bf have a pretty low tolerence, swim has taken 2 before, and her bf hasnt taken any.

Same effects? Less duration? Swim is anxious to know, she really doesnt want to waste this stuff, as she can't find more.

what is a half dose? half of what? Its hard to say without knowing how many mg. But, I imagine that half of what you took before would do very little.

Asking about half a dose is the same as asking how long is a piece of string?

If it's half of what you have taken before then expect slightly less duration and milder or diminished effects. SWIM thinks <125mg orally ingested is fairly useless for someone with a fair experience of the drug. But we are all different.

Ah, okay... Swim is kind of useless with weights, and new to it all, but it's been resolved anyway - her boyfriend has decided he doesn't fancy it this time anyway. =)

MDMA is a drug with a dose-dependent effects curve. Take a little-to-little, and there will be moderate stimulation but no "magical" effects. Take a little-too-much, and there will be excess stimulation, no magic, and a high potential for a most unpleasant anxiety attack. Keep reading up on dosages in these forums.
