Drug info - LSD Vial Smelled Of Alcohol...

Swim's friend gave him a vial of LSD and told him it was some stuff called "whiskey" and it was really good. It came in a dark green vial with a dropper. It smelled completely like alcohol. Swim never had a vial before this and was curious if anyone knows what this stuff was. Swim didn't experience any colors, it was a mental high. But swims other friend, not the doser, took some and said he saw so many colors, more than anything he'd ever taken before. Swim did some research, not so much, and realized that whiskey is made from rye, which ergot grows on. Is this a coincidence or was it real LSD? Swim has read that real stuff does not really exist anymore and is being replaced with chemicals such as DOB. Any idea as to what this might have been? Also swim's fiancee got sick and started throwing up from this stuff, but swim and his friend didn't.

LSD in liquid form is usually dissolved in highproof alcohol, so it seems likely this is what SWIY got. The name 'whiskey' could indicate somewhat impure LSD like amber crystal which has a brownish discoloring, although SWIM is guessing here. LSD is still possible to find if one looks in the right places, but of course it could be some RC too.

the liquid coloring was clear and tasted somewhat minty. swim never drinks or has never drank alcohol so does not know what it tastes like. does this help clearify what it might have been? swim asked his friend but he just says its "L" and called it "whiskey" the first time swim got it from him. although, Swims friend is a little out of his mind, but would never give swim something dangerous unless he didn't know. swims friend claims to have really good connects. swim is just very interested in what he got. where would one possibly go to find this real stuff? or how would one reconize if it is indeed real or a RC? swim just does not want to do anyting dangerous or give anything harmful to his fiancee, and has read a lot on LSD and would only like to try the real stuff.

The only possible way to know for certain would be to have the contents of the vial analyzed, if SWIt has no friends with the required equipment for such an inquiry, this could be a very expensive option though. A thrustworthy source, as close to the top the better, of the manucfactoring and distribution chain would be SWIt's next best bet.
Most people experience some degree of body load on psychedelics, especially on the onset of the drug, body load effects include nausea in some, and SWIt's fiancee is probably just one of the more unfortunate ones with this particular substance. How long after ingestion did she vommit? and did she experience any effects other than that? It would be near impossible to sufficiently describe the subtle differences between many psychedelic tryptamines and phenethylamines in words to someone who hasn't experienced them plus SWIM is too lazy to try :$. The duration of the trip would give an indication of which substance it was, a usual hit of LSD would effect most about 6-12 hours, on high doses longer while in general the DOx's are longer lasting and most 2C-x's shorter lasting. SWIM can't say much of how SWIt can find genuine LSD since that would be against the rules, though in his country there seems to be mainly a scene for it in the subcultures belonging to the electronical music scene.

This is sheer speculation. But a Keller Indole Test would tell one what they had in about one minute - if it was LSD25. No one knows what it was dissolved in - Jim Beam or Blue Curucao. LSD25 has been dissolved in everything it can be over the ages. Hell - people used to transport it in a bottle of Cheer laundry detergent, along with piles of dirty clothes.

Yeah SWIM mentioned the body load was strong, but relaxing, not energetic. SWIM's fiancee mentioned that it was about 3 hours after taking it but didn't feel anything until after she vomited. and she also said the same as SWIM, it was all mental, no colors, and very happy made them laugh alot. but there was a body high. the high was about 8-10 hours or so. and SWIM's fiancee was sick from that 3hour point till about the 15hour point, just naseus and stomache aches. but SWIM and his friend experienced nothing like this. SWIM's friend said he saw many colors and the body load was very strong. and was feeling some of the effects even 4 days later. SWIM and his fiancee took about 5 hits but SWIMS friend took an extra large dose of about 30. that could defniitly explain why his high was much different.
are here any street tests, like for instance what the cops use for crack or something, to determine if its genuine LSD? also, does the blacklight test swim read about really work? swim isnt interested in DOx's or 2C-x's, only the real stuff, but thank you for that info, every bit of information helps.

Yes, there's a thread about it in the morning glory seed forum. Swim thinks the peppermint oil either converts some of the LSA to LSH or helps the body do the conversion faster. Probably both. But the OPs description does sound like LSA/H to swim, but it very likely could be acid too, he supposes.

No need to worry about the "!?" behind LSH. It's not dangerous in reasonable doses, it's just not acid.

also compared to LSA and LSD, considering SWIM has tried LSD, maybe, and LSA for sure.

If SWIY is really serious about finding out what this was, they are going to have to obtain a arsenal of tests, some might even require some lab equipment to even test it. SWIM had some small paper blotter while back and was told it was LSD, she thinks its 5-meo-AMT or something similar, made her vomit and have a bad headache after the 8-10 hour trip, and the onset took 1.5 hours about. Theres so much going around, its terrible SWIMs out there gotta look to testing kits and such for finding the product they desire. One could blame the illegalization of some of these substances, but thats another thread

SWIM agrees. thats so stupid how it can be anything and people will lie just to sell it or for whatever reason. SWIM hopes one day SWIM will come across some good, legit, genuine LSD. one day... =]

One hopes by then there are still people who know what that is. There are many in this generation who will swear up & down on an old stack of Zap Comics they have had the "best acid, dude!" - and they've never had real LSD25. Sad, but true.

A few simple chemical reagents is all one needs. The chemicals are legal and available. All it takes is a willingness to learn.
