Cultivation - BlacK Leaves

SWIM has been trying to start two new cuttings of SD that came in the mail a week ago. One came with some roots already. That one is especially the problem. It is getting black splotches along the edge of its leaves.

Swim has beem following the directios that can be found on this site and that came with the plants. Rooting powder, Humidome, Light, Foil blocking light from rooting area.

So first SWIM wants to know if using plant food (Mirical Grow All Purpous - Its all I got) will affect the Rooting powder SWIM used.

Swim has been thinking that perhaps the one with roots should be planted. But swim was expectin unrooted cutings and has not budgeted for planting till next payday(in a week)

So any advise or though would be apriciated.

swiy should plant and water the rooted cutting (if roots a few mm long) and take the top of a soda bottle and place it over the plant to make a makeshift humidity tent.

Swiy probably shouldn't use fertz until both plants are well established.

just get a small bag of soil and a 2 liter clear bottle of soda. (swiy could probably use the bottom as the planter if he couldn't afford something else and then cut slits in both sides evenly so they sort of fit together?)

From what swim understands blackening is a sign of stress or low humidity.
