One girl and one bad trip.

OK so SWIM did 50Grams of Peruvian Torch at the Fall Fair (Rides, Carnies, food. All the good stuff) About 2 hours later he felt a little weird because the weed and cactus were kicking in together.

3:00 hours: SWIM lost all of the people he was hanging out with and decided to go find someone to hang out with. Little did he know he would find someone he never met. This girl was hot he was in line and she was a little drunk at the time so she asked him to go on the ride with her and of course he said yes.

3:20 hours: They get off the ride and she is getting a little clingy but that's OK she was drunk. She looks at her phone and starts getting texts from the same guy who wants to beat SWIM up saying he wants to hook up with her after wards even though he has a girlfriend and she shows SWIM them.

(SWIM does not know how he managed to meet a random girl who was being texted to hook up by the one guy who wants to beat SWIM up.)

3:50 hours: SWIM finds his other friends and she is still with him which is ok SWIM kind of likes her now that he knows her.

4:00 hours: SWIM realizes she is a faker by how she acts and decided after one more ride he would find someone and leave her with them (wasn't to interested.)

5-10 hours: Didn't sleep thought about what the hell happened all night and tripped.



OK so here is the important part.

-SWIM gets bored and meets a hottie.

-This person is being texted to hook up by the one guy that wants to beat SWIM up and 5 minutes earlier SWIM was talking about him.

-This guy saw SWIM with her and that is the only reason he didn't try to kick the shit outa SWIM. He knew if he did I would tell his girlfriend about the whole thing.

-SWIM did not tell her his last name and she guessed it without a clue while they sat on a ride.

-SWIM has a chance to hook up with her but is already tripping balls because of all this and decided to leave her because she is to clingy and fake.

Why did this make SWIM think so much? Why did he think about this same thing all night? And why did it give him such a bad trip?

SWM has only been around her for one hour, both of them intoxicated, and SWIM thinks he can call her fake? Being clingy is pretty normal for a lot of drunk women.

The texts are an interesting coincidence

SWIM probably thought so much about it because dismissing her as fake etc. probably is against SWIMs gut feeling.

Btw, a lot of people act differently or fake until one gets to know them better and they feel safe to be themselves.

QFT. I often notice myself almost trying to be someone else whilst with new people. This usually dissolves as the ice breaks. Which sometimes happens instantly...

Yea well we are friends now and she was just clingy because she was drunk so it is all good. She isn't as annoying anymore.

SWIM could tell she was fake. She acted exactly like one of SWIMS exes and SWIM hated her personalty. It was that. "Oh my god" personality.


You could tell she doesn't smoke weed and she was doing it to fit in, SWIM would have liked her better if she just didn't if she hasn't before.

SWIM ended up with like 4 or 5 different groups that he didn't know anyone in to go smoke bowls and it was way easier for him to talk to people he didn't know.

Swim would avoid a Fair/carnaval at all costs while tripping.... crowds of strangers, tacky lighting, annoying musical jingles, fast moving mechanical objects .... amoung many other not so friendly tripping variables. And mescaline of all psychedelics especially should be put to use out in nature.

As to why the bad trip actually came about, obviously the fear of getting beaten up had a lot to do with it, and psychedelics amplify emotion so its fairly self explanatory. Not being able get the bad thought out of swiys head is known as a "negative thought loop" and is a common element of a bad trip.

When a recreational swimmer who gets caught in this loop and wants it to go away they should find a new environment, only be around people who they know and trust and preferably who are experienced trippers who can understand and guide one through the trip, change lighting or music when indoors etc. All the bad trip basics essentially.

Or for someone who respects these substances and uses them for their shamanic and some would argue their true purposes they would face the fear head on and see the experience as an oppertunity to understand the innermost workings of their psyche and contemplate/reflect on the knowledge gained as a means to grow and develop.
