Swims depression

Swim has been depressed for most of his life from a young age and has been formally diagnosed with depression and anxiety and possible ocd. Swim hs tried 5-htp, wellbutring, and clonazepam for these disorders. Nothing has really helped especially with the depression. The only relife swim has found is the long lasting isnights and benefits of psychedlics. and habitual marijuana use. Neither of these are accepted by swims docotrs. Im sure there are threads like this so im sorry if i doubkle posted. does anyone have any ideas wat swim could do?

Re: Swims depression

Depression is a disorder that can be tricky. Just make sure that your not making yourself feel that way (and it can be happening w/o you realizing it.) and I suffer from Anxiety which I use Xanax XR for provided through prescription by my doctor.

There are other medications, try Pexeval. Pexeva worked great for my depression & and I even felt motivated!! I had side effects though that . . . well, i wasn't going to hand over my lively hood as a man (the dreaded... E.D.) but it doesnt happen to everyone. Symptoms resolved after use;

Though, SWIM does frequent MJ use, daily. Habitually. When he wakes up, lunch break @ work, Coming home, Got home, After dinner, lol it goes on and on and on . . . and this does help him with his mood swings;

I though got through my depression by realizing something... I didn't want to feel that way anymore, I didnt want to feel trapped by my thoughts and emotions. I wanted to explore pleasure again and stop feeling so damned numb.

Take some acid on a good day & re-program your mind advising to yourself in third person that Life is Pleasurable. . . and the doors should open.

If that guy you know needs someone to msg about that, just pm me, i'll help council him through it.

Re: Swims depression

efexor user myself. sex-prolonging quality very evident n appreciated [one's a male btw], anti-depressant fx -> subtle [alas]. for some months been adding chocolate to my large doses of guarana + piracetam regime. this gave this nice booster an [unexpected] boost. think 2 to 3 x 100 grams of black chocolate daily. the 90 % cocoa kind isnt necessary cos some sugar is required [so use the normal 75% kind].
been trying 100 % cocoa ingestion [powder ingestion], but that didnt work well, became to hard for the stomach. after a coupla days of stomach trouble with the above doses of black chocolate, it'll disappear almost altogether.....up your water intake.
the fx of the chocolate are genuinely anti-depressant/normalising, the guarana brings slow-release caffeine for speeded up thought :think 2 to 3 x 5 grs of low quality(2,5%-caffeine/theobromine] guarana daily. the piracetam is there for some extra 'easiness of thought' [2 x 400/800 mg daily, no megadosing!].
my 2 cents on fighting depression, while living a drug-free life [that's without the constant dulling of the mj, or the dose-upping risc of amphetamines n/or opiates.
psychedelic 'experiments' (hehe) must be and are made on a monthly basis]
oh yeah, try n stay off the klonopin n alikes [or use very sparingly, mainly to 'help' in/after serious psychedelics use] n i forgot to mention to advise very low-dose taking of propranolol [inderal, the 'beta-blocker'], thats 2 to 3 times 5 or 10 mg daily, for some non-drugged up restfulness. bye, now.

Re: Swims depression

Treatment for depression is different for everyone. SWIM has used SSRI's SDRI's etc. As well as St. Jons Wort and 5-HTP and a few other things. It's taken SWIM 6 years to finally find something at the right dose to really help with SWIM's depression. This happens to be 900mg of Quetiapine daily along with a daily dose of 50mg of Trazodone. None of us here can really tell SWIY what to do to help SWIY depression nor can any doctor really tell SWIY. It could happen by getting lucky and finding something that will help immediately or SWIY could end up like SWIM and it could take years.

Re: Swims depression

yeah, one is aware of individual setting etc...but i can recommend this legal and semi-natural "little helper" to every abnormally sombre person. i really think the combo can go ON TOP of any anti-depressant medication very well to make its fx less ambivalent, sorta lead it 9and swiyself0 into the right direction....ok, take for 2 weeks: 2xdaily 200 mg piracetam, 2x 1 gr of low/mid quality guarana n 2x daily half a bar [50grs] of black chocolate for starters, see how it makes the depressed swiy feel... all this can be upped a bit if liked [see my post above]...no doctor can or will say there's something irresponsible or dangerous in trying this....the little help can produce significant fx....rhodiola, ginko, ginseng, royal jelly, valerian could be added to the diet in low doses but any of these stuffs might spoil the effect as well....ritalin n benzo's n opiates n loads of others are not to be used on a daily basis at all....they're recreative drugs n should be viewed as such [that's sporadical use to get HIGH with]...ok, about to stop my preaching, but any depressed person helped is a great gain imo [i know its a f^&^&&ing terrible disease]
