hi there i am wondering if anyone has info on what the following chemicals efects would be?

and plane tryptamine. also what is the diffrence between a chem name and then the same name with hcl after?


also amt i was wondering how much this should cost and what sort of reseach it could be used for. thanks

If you are refering to psychotropic effects - e.g. will these alter your mental state - then no. Though 5-methoxy-tryptamine has been proposed as a potentiator for sedatives. These chemical have many applications in organic synthesis as precursors to other compounds, some of which are active both physically and psychologically.


A .HCl is chemical shorthand for a hydrochloride salt. In simple terms one could write 5-Methoxy-tryptamine .HCl to mean 5-Methoxy-tryptamine hydrochloride, and a chemist would understand instantly. Though properly the 'dot' as in a period symbol (.) should be in the midpoint of the word. But my keyboard does not support chemical nomenclature.


I do not know what the current market prices for these would be. However you could order a catalogue from Sigma Chemical in St. Louis, MO to find out an average.
