Smoking - Cocaine not hardening after cook?

In all the years SWIM has been cooking in a spoon this has never happened to him. The coke is really good or so it would seem and with a touch of soda/water it cooks nicley into a great tasting oil with all the expected effects. THe problem however is that it just wont harden. THe soda all falls to the bottom and will not mix with the dope at all. Not that SWIM wants too much soda in it but some would be accptable if necessary to make it rock up.

After reading Le Junk's Crack-to-Cocaine Conversion Process I noticed that there could be large amounts of benzocaine or procaine in it causing this to happen. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a quick fix?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

BUT cocaine base sould NOT be an oil. Amphetamines and MDMA are oils in base form (brown heavier than water oils actually)

SWIM always used a spoon! THe oil floated to the top Swim took a small screwdriver and dabbed at the oil with it. The oil became rock hard on the end of the screwdriver and was perfect till now. SWIM wonders what kinda cut or byproduct is preventing this from happening?

DF can't possibly identify cuts, only theorize.

Swim has encountered more than 50, just for cocaine.

Swim would also recommend, highly, not cooking in a spoon.

Cook microwave style in a small glass jar, with ammonia. Much easier, much better yields, impossible to mess up.

From what you are talking about, OP, it just sounds like you had a "bad" time cooking it. Sometimes it happen. Swim has lost perhaps 1/2oz learning the RIGHT way to cook (and it sure as hell was not in a spoon!). He would randomly sometimes lose the entire spoon of cocaine because he did not heat it properly or for the right amounts of time.

Spoon cooking is finicky.

SWIM knows all about the finickyness of the spoon and has never had this happen in 10 years

After reading Le Junk's Crack-to-Cocaine Conversion Process it leads SWIM to believe that the cut is fouling up the process as this has never happened before unless it was complete garbage which it is not. The oil is good to smoke however SWIM prefers not to hastle around with all kinds of crap just to get it into a pipe!

i suggest SWIY take the mess (all of it), dissolve it in dilute 10% Hcl or dilute 10% suplfuric acid then add ammonia. This will precipitate the freebase and save the mess up.

SWIM now has a 1/2 full baby food jar full of good oil that just wont harden no matter what. SWIM anxiously awaits guidance from VETERANS!

It needs to cool to harden.

What did you use with the jar, ammonia or water?

Bro I tell ya its the weirdest thing SWIM has ever seen! Water was used. THe soda wont stick in it at all, it simply will not harden. Its been cooled for a week, even FROZE! SWIM thought it was garbage at first but after a test SWIM was confident that theres nothing wrong with it at all other than whatever cut must be in with it that came back as oil also. Its the only thing that could possibly be stopping the process from finishing is my best guess. THere must be a way to salvage it somehow. After viewing the crack to coke conversion process SWIM got was thinking that its not possible to turn it to crystal due to the cut that must be mixed in, in an oil form. The process says water is the enemy so I have to rule out trying that as it could ruin it all.

Please feel free to continue to comment and help SWIM out. The dope aint goin no where sinice theres about $500 laying in the damm jar LOL!

Oh man. Swim is afraid to say anything now. Swim really wants you to not loose any! Swim only would experiment when he had excess of cocaine and could afford it.

Hmm. Swim's method with the baby jar was designed with using ammonia in mind, and not water. Swim has not used water since he did spoon cooking. Swim said this originally, don't know if Swiy saw that or not.

Water is difficult to work with, since there are additives in water (For example, where Swim lives, they put fluoride in the water!), and tap water is notoriously impure.

Hm. Anyone else have any thoughts on what to do now? Swim wants others to post some advice before he ruins the yay!
