In 2004, Webb was found dead from two gunshot wounds to the head.

The coroner's office judged a suicide.

Deborah Jeane Palfrey was known as "The DC Madam".

Palfrey was convicted on federal charges stemming from operating a prostitution service in the Washington, D.C. area with a number of high-profile clients.

She had threatened to publish the names of her clients if she was convicted.

She was scheduled to be sentenced July 24, 2008.

On May 1, 2008, Palfrey was found hanging in a storage shed outside her mother's mobile home in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Autopsy results concluded her death was a suicide.

In the aftermath of the 9/11 anthrax scare, after seven years of investigation and millions of dollars spent focusing on only ONE suspect with apparently little evidence to link him to the crimes, former US Army biological-weapons scientist, Bruce E Ivins, 62, was about to be indicted on murder charges relating to the attacks.

Ivins died Tuesday July 29, 2008 at Frederick Memorial Hospital after ingesting a massive dose of prescription Tylenol mixed with codeine, said a friend and colleague, who declined to be identified out of concern that he would be harassed by the FBI.

Ivan's death was classified as an apparent "suicide"!

Then we have Abbie (Abraham) Hoffman who died in April of 1989 - shortly after George H.W. Bush took over the government. Abbie was found dead and his body was promptly cremated - before autopsy results were made available.

The results - a month and more later - said he'd taken enough phenobarbital to kill 10 people. Anyone who knew Abbie, knew he had a prescription for anything he took. This due to his constantly being torn apart by police on the slightest excuses. There was no, never was, prescriptions for phenobarbital. Abbie could get anything he wanted off doctors - he was friends with many - including emergency plastic-surgery! So where did the phenobarbital come from? What phenobarbital?

And a friend of Abbie's died shortly thereafter. Jessica Savitch. Jessica was a reporter for PBS's Frontline series. A new expose on the evils that men do. She was about to blow the whistle on the powerful nuclear-power industry and lobby. She was found dead in a car-wreck close by where Abbie had died in Pennsylvania. The same autopsy-doctor who did Abbie's corpus announced Jessica was drunk and drove off the road.

Odd thing - Jessica couldn't drink. She was allergic to alcohol in any form/amount. Everyone who knew Jessica knew that. But the government stuck to it's story.

seriously though, I haven't heard about any conspiracy regarding Abby Hoffman's death...i seem to recall reading his 'life story' somewhere, and they (whoever it was!) said that apparently he had fallen into a deep depression for several months prior to his 'suicide.'

and i think...if i'm not mistaken, i think they also said that he was a diagnosed bipolar...is this correct?

also...while we're on the subject, is it true that he got facial plastic surgery to avoid detection as a fugitive?

Just to throw in my .02, the DC madame story says she had already been convicted of money-laundering, prostitution, etc, and she was waiting for her sentencing, when her mother found her hanged:

Palfrey told writer Dan Moldea, who was helping her write a book, that she would commit suicide rather than return to jail, according to Time magazine.

"She had done time once before [for prostitution]," Moldea told Time. "And it damn near killed her."

Palfrey had made similar comments to ABC News in 2007, saying, "I sure as heck am not going to be going to federal prison for one day, let alone, you know, four to eight years."

personally, I think this one sounds like it might be an actual suicide...

The family of Abbie, especially his constant-irritant brother - Jack - had had quite enough media attention as a result of Abbie's work. So raising the conspiracy-flag was not something they wished to do at the time. Though it was the proverbial "Elephant-in-the-room."

Yes Abbie had been depressed. Yes he was so diagnosed. This being when anyone with depression started getting this diagnosis. And yes he'd had some alterations made to his face when he went underground in 1974.

We will all know for SURE on that glorious day when the sky shall part in two, and from above the skies, Jesus himself shall cry out to all the true, correct Christians--not muslims, or Jews, or catholics, of course--and we will be whisked away in a chariot made of marshmallow coco-puffs!!!!

...and then, from up above in heaven, where it's totally safe, and all the seats are good seats, we can all watch as God reigns down fire and terror onto all the non-believers and heathens!!!

...we can watch while they're all burnin in sin and tribulation, just gnashing their teeth in horror, and then...when that part's over, then we can ask all the angels and even Jesus himself!!

There is another balcony in the Grand Theatre. Where those who know better are vomiting and throwing Jordan Almonds over the rail upon the heads of those who dwell in the Big Purple Chairs next to Elvis and Jesus.
