Re: skelaxin

Wife was on these for a while, it is more of a sedative than a muscle relaxer. She was taking 800mg three times a day. They wasn't doing nothing for her muscle spasms, so her doctor switched her to Bacoflen.
SKELAXIN® (metaxalone) is indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomforts associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of this drug has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties. Metaxalone does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles in man.

Capita should urgently read the rules.
Re: skelaxin (Metaxalone)

Swim would say it is not of any recreational use. Does more harm the good when used for recreational rather than pain purposes.

Re: skelaxin (Metaxalone)

Not that good, effects are mild at best. Above methocarbomol but below carisoprodol.

Absolutely worthless. It tastes like chalk and the effects are pretty much on par.

Re: skelaxin (Metaxalone)

The first muscle relaxant prescribed to me by my neurologist, and the most worthless of all she's had me try so far.

Re: skelaxin (Metaxalone)

^^^ Unless your monkey can elaborate then this post isn't particularly helpful. What was your monkey expecting from said prescription, why was it worthless? Are there better alternatives?
