Does anyone know how much is lost when you cook cocaine hydrochloride into the base form

Does that mean that if you had 1gm of 100% pure cocaine and you cooked ityou would be left with 0.85gm of freebase?

http://yes thats what it means but i...king it with baking soda, im also gussing if you use too much water youl lose some coke or if you use too litle or too much baking soda but not too sure, does anyone know anyother methods of freebaseing your coke besides baking soda

So how can you be sure of what they say it is, and what it actually is,(% purity wise)if there are so many variables.Too much of this,not enough of that,non-polar ,polar ,ammonia,baking soda.I just want to know an easy and quick method of finding out that when someone says its x% purethe end result of my method will either reveal a)he was telling the truth and it is x% or b) hes talkin shitand it weighs less

i find it funny how all coke is cut but when you cook it it almost comes back equal and i dint know you could make freebase from soda and water i thought it was just called crack and i also thought you needed either and ammonia to free base

maybe the cut gets cooked into the crack?

maybe, but i think that the "cracking" noise when smoking it are the impurities. not sure though.

impurities yes, mostly in the form of leftover baking soda. hence the name and the difference with amonia freebase

I heard that some chick was smoking freebase a long time ago and her pipe cracked so she starting calling it crack and the name stuck.

never heard that one ! well there is a difference in sound between pretty pure freebase and baking soda freebase, which does let's say "crepitate", snap crackle pop
