First- Swim will not post a Tek,instruction,tips,How to,etc..etc on the abuse of Fentanyl patchs...Any use other than doctor and mfg instructions on use can and will lead to DEATH(see avatar). With that being said...Swim has not seen any real discusion on these endevors and is sure there is alot of it going on..and in an effort at some harm reduction..so someone dosen't punk off or buy or find one on the sidewalk and go to his/her buddies and say "I heard you can....." Now Swim may or may not have his own horror stories with fent...But please discuss any of yours here..Ya Ya Swim likes horror.... MODS please move thread as required

There are a couple of threads about this, one that springs to mind is called How to abuse Fentanyl Patches??, a few very dodgy pieces of "advice" in that thread that may well have led to a ban or two and could have been dangerous to try out.

From what i have read on these forums and elsewhere, trying to abuse fentanyl patches seems extremely dangerous since the dosages are in the microgram range. I read a scary article about this (that i can't seem to find) that said even after the normal usage of a 3 day fentanyl patch, there was still a potentially lethal dose left in these patches.

Very dodgy stuff, i also read something about someone who was a serial patch eater and ended up doing him self some serious damage to his health, i think it was his liver in particular.

Swim feels the same way.....but it seems to swim the abuse of these things is getting more and more common...Quick question do they even prescribe these in the UK....In the states they are fairly common......I won,t even get into how hard these things are to get off of...........Fent w/d.......BBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Yes they are prescribed in the UK, SWIM has had them for years. Not abused as much over here as most of the addicts SWIM knows don't have a clue about what fentanyl is, the same goes for most of the pain pills too.

It is very common here for these patches to be chewed,injected(gel type)and very ,very easy to extract the fent for smoking.It reminds swim of the cocaine/crack epidemic of the 1980s here in the US.Swim has watched people and familys go in the toilet in a short period of time with that crap...enough of a deterent to make swim stay away from these substances.There is no way to figure out a measured amout of fent once you stop the transdermal ROA............OH its easy to smoke a months worth of fent patches in a few days......but thebige and Shanghi would not know anything about that...............ahhem..

SWIM has dried out the gel type for smoking, is it possible to extract the fentanyl from the flat type of patches for smoking?

Hi LisaJ..Yes it is easy to extract fent from the flat type(Mylan brand in US) Like swim said he not going to post a TEK but a simple search should yield you results....BUT BEWARE extracted Fent from Mylan type or the flat kind will be pure fent and many times stronger then gel...........even extracted from a used worn or chewed patch will leave swim with a smaller yield but many,many times stronger than gel.Swim cannot stress enough how dangerous and possibly fatal this can be......If Swim has no to even a high tolerance,this can go wrong and lead to a OD,as there is no way to even estimate dose..........BUT...you will probley will do this anyway so don't throw out your used patches,and even old ones that have been out for along time contain alot of fent................Swim hopes this info can keep you well,safe..
