Drugs and Thrill Rides

Swim is going to a theme park soon and will be riding a lot of roller coasters.

what Swim wants to know is what drugs Swiy's recommend to use in combination with thrill rides, and why. (does it enhance the effects? does it add more to the slew of endorphins being released? does it make you more psyched for the rides? perhaps make them more terrifying? )

well is'nt swey just the lil adrenaline freak. smurf thinks he'll have a heart attack if he had to take certain drugs on a intense ride. especially coke. smurfs guesses are amphetamines should be about the most enjoyable. but this is'nt talking from experience. keep us posted & becarefull.

i think 'e' would be a little stranious on the heart. not recommended. if one is used to lsd & a frequent tripper smurf would imagine it could be enjoyable. infact next month it is on the list of activities for the smurfs. be safe look after your hearts.

My little fishy used MDMA whilst on these rides before. It was an amazing and a very enjoyable experience. However, since then the adrenaline rush on any ride is no where near as intense and makes it seem a little boring.

interesting, like having sex on drugs & diminishing the excitement of the act whilst not high.

as for the heart issue, i think people with anxiety & panic attacks should avoid such things, but most people know them selves & their boundaries from their gut feelings.

Swims friends used to go to a team park in Holland called the Efteling on lsd, had good reports about that ! Swim never tryed that combination.

the roller coaster rides scare swim as they are, so swim would never even go near a theme park when indulged in drugs, but he still wonders how it would be with shrooms

swim absolutely must advise anyone taking anything even slightly stimulating (lsd, mdma, amphetamines, cocaine, ect.) or psychedilic (lsd, mushrooms, research chemicals, ect.) really should take a benzodiazepine such as diazepam, clonazepam, lorazepam, alprazolam, ect. it would be really bad to have a panic attack or have heart problems or something. but, swim is not a doctor and should seek medical advice first. swim is just posting what he would do if he were to do something completely insane like that, although he wouldn't.

in swim's opinion, these rides are a high in themsleves and nothing is going to make it better. substances will either make them too overwhelming, or really dull. why take something really fun, and turn it into something different/not fun? swim doesn't understand that. swim thinks stimulants are just too risky for one's health and won't make it any more enjoyable. psychedelics would just be too overwhelming physically, emotionally, ect. they are more then enough on their own. depressants like benzodiazepines, barbiturates, opioids, ect. will just completely dull the experience. swim does not see how that could be fun in any kind of way. but maybe others have different experiences/opinions? swim would like to hear.

Perfect example of how everyone is different. As stated somewhere above, my little fishy never enjoyed a theme park more than on MDMA, and because of this the adrenaline rush and experience is dull and boring without now. It just added a new depth and bigger rush.

Obviously stimulants are not for SWIY, but doesn't mean they are not for everyone. It's all about knowing ones body and mind and keeping an open minded approach to such a thing. You just don't know until you try!

well Swim was thinking that there are a couple of routes one could go: find some way to take a short-acting drug just before you go on the ride, or perhaps while on the ride! or the probably more logical way to go, find something that lasts a long time and ride on.

Swim thinks an experienced tripper could enjoy the psychedelic + rides combination. especially at night! they have a ton of lights and stuff. Swim isn't very experienced with psychedelics, though, so he's just brainstorming. Swim would also be willing to try MDMA, cannabis, DXM, and/or alcohol.

I forgot to add it would obviously be a good idea to be experienced with a particular drug before contemplating using it whilst at a theme park. Just as you should be aware of a drugs individual effects on you before you think of combining them.

SWIM tried magic mushrooms before going to King's Island one day. King's island is a theme park in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Really interesting experience, little fishy has not tried shrooms on their own yet, so trying them at a theme park is some way off. Sounds like great fun though!

Wouldn't suggest either of these... DXM is just a mindfuck. And when you go to thrill parks, you're on your feet all day long. Opiates are not good for being active. Opiates are better for when you are sitting or laying down all day, not walking around getting on rollercoasters. SWIM recommends psychedelics if you are experienced with them. If not, amphetamines are always nice.

definitely wouldn't recommend DXM as when one is partaking in this experience, they would probably find it very uncomfortable in public, especially an amusement park

When SWIM first saw the thread title, he imagined getting a face full of puke. Be careful with nausea-causing drugs too!

By the way, have any swimmers had an experience like that? Hell, has it happened when you were sober? SWIM hasn't coasted on the rollers too many times, so he hasn't had many chances to see someone hurl off one.

This is a very interesting topic. SWIM would love to try this. And for going on opiates, SWIM agrees with ADVOR, that might not be the best if your going to be on your feet for hours. SWIM would love to hear some more experiences on this if SWIY has any.

swiy made good points but in swims experience 2nd plateau dxm was very enjoyable at a them park setting it gave him an energy boost, added intrest to the rides he had been on so many times aLLREADY, AND also had the genral "fun-ness" about it of a 2nd plateau dxm trip

and swim is very opiate tolerant and quite enjoys an insuffulated 40 mg of oxycodone before his roller coaster but now under further consideration agrees its probablly not the best cjoice for most swiys out there

recentlly swim tried freebasing cocaine right before a roller coaster ride it was a very funn intense experience but swim feels it might be bad for the cardiovascular system also swim is fortunate enough to live near an amusement park during the offseason so he had fairlly quick acess to the ride before the effects dissapated

on another note swim once made the mistake of consuming mushroom tea before an amusement park adventure.. it started off well enough but he soon became paranoid of all thepark security and could never even bring himself to get ona roller coaster due to the shrooms playing on his natural fear of heights so even if one is experienced with psychadelics tripping in a high profile place lke that may not be the best idea

just swims 2 cents worth
