Health - Glass in SWIM's pot

So I have a friend who's girlfriend smashed his air tight glass jar with his
weed in it and now he was wondering if there is any safe way to smoke it.

The big chunks were removed but there was defiantly very small bits that
looked like crystals but weren't. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Swim wouldn't call it safe, but a water bong might be helpful to filter out any solid chunks of glass. Well, it could be safe, not sure but that's what swim would do.

SWIM has done that before with a water bong. SWIM doesn't see how a SWIY inhailing would pull glass up outta water, up a tube, and into SWIYs mouth and lungs. Seems even the smallest particles of glass would be surely held in the water/by gravity.

Swiy could go to a tobacco shop and get a kit to make homeade cigarettes. You can pack the tobacco in a filtered cig that looks just like the store bought ones, surely a filter would stop the glass from getting to the lungs.

Doesn't the filter block a good amount of the active ingredients in this tobacco(lol) one may be smoking.

It does block some amount. SWIM would go for the bong. There's no way glass particles would get up from the water and to your lungs by the force of inhalation. And fine enough particles to flow with the air are held in water (by surface tension?).

While the method phaze described make take some potency away, it would be safer than bleeding internally.

Sucks she even done some shit like that, if it was phaze it would have read.

Couldn't the glass get into the butter then? Or are you talking about an isopropyl alcohol extraction through filters?

WAY SAFER, swim would either toke out of a bong or toss the stuff away and then kick the shit of his dealer(Swim knows that this was an accident, but if people were cutting his bud with glass...).

In that thread phaze posted someone replied that using a bong the glass would still come up the tube into your lungs along with the smoke. A bong is not 100% safe.

While it should be noted that the topic i linked to is about glass that has been ground up and sprinkled on the weed. Called grit.

While swiz weed was sitting in a glass jar that broke. Most likley the glass shards are going to be 100% bigger than ground up glass. If all can't be picked out, depending on the size of the glass pieces, it could be dangerous, but most likley if the glass busted like most other glass it will be in pieces which are big enough to see and not inhale.

Still take all precautions, if using a bong. put a piece of panty hose taped around the mouth piece when smoking, that way you can have a extra filter and not inhale a glass shard.

If a bong was of higher quality, like with an ashcatcher and percs, would it be a safer bet? Still swim would use a wet tee shirt over the mouth.

How the hell was I supposed to know that panty hose contained plastic polymer. LOL

Anyways, the weed wasn't bought with glass in it per OP. And I was only meaning filter it through something else ontop of using a bong. But hell i had no idea or i wouldnt have said that. Anyways, something that is safe that can be used as a filter because these are most likley shards instead of grit.
