Health - what does it mean when it tast like gasoline

so swim scored some meth last night and it looked fine. it tasted real strong kinda like gasoline. i'm basically wondering what the hell it is because it gave him no usual euphoria/confidence thing, it was more just crazy mind spinning in all directions unable to track. normally the stuff makes his mind clearer and able to do things better and more eficient but this was the opposite any info on this would be very helpful

oh yea couple more things. he noticed by the taste it was different right away then usual. and a while after he took it he got a bunch of painful soars on his tongue and right away he looked different almost sickly. i'm almost wondering if he should go to the hospital he doesnt seem in good shape

It could have been smuggled in with gasoline(Happens with coke), or it could be unevaporated naphtha. I do not know about the second question.

Naphtha is used in lighter fluid, its carcinogenic if I remember correctly. It's used as a non-polar solvent.
