Effects - Seizure?

A few days ago I went to a kick back at a friends house I hadn't eaten much that day and had an energy drink on the way there... we sparked up the hookah opened a few beers and passed a pipe around... The hookah was just tobacco nothing else in it and the weed was not laced with anything... I had like 2 hits from the pipe and drank like half a beer and smoked a decent amount of hookah... I started feeling kinda light headed and dizzy thought it was rather strange it normally takes me alot more than a couple hits and half a beer to feel anything, let alone feel it that strongly... the next thing I knew my brother was yelling "lets get him out of the garage" so they helped me out and onto the lawn where I sat down for a few minutes... I was rather confused as to what just happened I was later told that I had a seizure... I don't know if it was just a lack of oxygen to the brain or what but its scared the hell out of me... anyone ever hear of something like this before? or any info on what causes seizures? or any input at all would be apprecaited.

you forgot the s & w before the i & the m @ the end. for swim. if you read the rules of self incrimination you'll see what i 'swim' is talking about. this sounds like swim feinted from lack of food & oxygen. not enough details to tell for sure? was swim shaking? how long was swim out for? smurf has felt very light headed & blacked out before from other things & tobacco mixed with a energy drink on a empty stomache amongst other things can cause this.

yes I often times forget to spell swims name correctly... never the less swim was out for around 15 seconds im told and I am also told that he was shaking but he didnt remember much.

SWIM had a seizure at a job interview for a quite well known quality retail firm. SWIM had to wait downstairs while waiting to be interviewed. It was a couple of weeks before xmas so SWIM was dressed for the winter. But when waiting didn't want to take her jacket off incase of revealing sweat marks!
SWIMs seizure happened about half way through the interview and SWIM woke to paramedics over her and then had to be escorted out through a very busy shopping precinct packed with xmas shoppers.
SWIM racked her brains to try and work out what caused this as it was something that had never happened before.
She had a vodka and redbull before she left in the morning could it be that?
She had been taking Mirtazipine but being a pill popper at the time was doubling up on doses maybe it was this?
Also about 3 weeks before SWIM and the guy she was seeing munched through 150 valium 10mgs so maybe it was the wd's from this - who knows but SWIM thought if it was going to happen it would have been before 3 weeks afterwards.
Anyway SWIM thought she would share her story as maybe its just one of lifes mysteries like it is for SWIM
It never happened again and this was 5 years ago now
SWIM hopes that its nothing too serious. Go for a CT scan and an ECG to rule out anything serious.

Not to steal the topic, but it was the valium for the above post. The result of Benzodiazepine withdrawal.

Search the forum for benzo withdrawal etc. Theres quiet a bit of info to back this.

swim get this as well. he dosent smoke mj any more because of it

he used to be an every other day smoker but a few times he would just have a few hauls then next thing he would collapse, world spinning, cold sweat and all.

Damn, I thought the outbreak of hyochondriasis epilepticum had abated, but no, apparently not.

Listen up kittlings - None of your monkeys had seizures here. Oidammus, your monkey had what is called in some parts a whitey - use the search engine. While you are at it look up seizures & epilepsy for a bit more information. Make sure your monkey smokes a little less, possibly finding a slightly weaker strain, & never on an empty stomach. Oh, & don't stand up too quickly!

Msmogadon, chances are your monkey fainted due to overheating, drinking vodka & Red Bull in the morning before an interview & after Mirtazepine, & I'd guess on an empty stomach. Although not impossible, the chances of this being a delayed benzo withdrawal related incident are very slim. If your monkey had had a full seizure with no history of epilepsy she would almost certainly have been whisked off in an ambulance for the relevant tests & observations.

Of course, if concern is high & these things are happening regularly when not stoned then get your monkey to the vet as soon as possible.
