Combinations - Heroin after Tramadol

Swims been using tramadol pretty heavily for some time now, up to 800mg at a time, and after stopping that a couple of days ago is sitting here finding himself having minimal effects from heroin. Swim had a pretty standard sized uk bag (sorry he can't be more specific than that he's always been terrible at eyeballing drug weights but with a gun to his head he'd guess maybe a bit under half a gram) and has taken about 3/4 of it by now at about half hour intervals as he wanted to be careful as he hasn't taken any brown for a long time but is having minimal if any effects, he's wondering about anyone elses experiences of switching from one of these to the other, he hasn't found tramadol to have particularly heavy withdrawal in the past, more discomfort than the hellish effects described with H (apart from the constipation which is a bitch) so he was thinking that it wouldn't have had that pronounced an effect on his opiate tolerance but is beggining to think he must be wrong.

Or has swim just got a really poor batch of brown?

Anyone else have any experiences with taking these two close together?
