Side effects - Horrible kratom Hangover?

Does anyone else other than SWIM get a completely horrible hangover from Kratom? He's done it three times, first two times with 3 teaspoons of super premium powder (didn't have a scale), and the third with about half a teaspoon.

The first time he got 2 hours of good effects, then was suddenly stabbed by a twang of nausea, dysphoria, and a bad headache which lasted hours. The second try was pretty much the same, but the hangover didn't come on as suddenly. On the third try, he figured he was possibly overdosing, so he lowered the dose to a half a teaspoon, but still got a pretty bad hangover that outweighed the good effects.
During the second and third tries, he drank lots of water, but apparently the hangover isn't caused by dehydration.

Now SWIM's got about 20 grams left from his ounce and can't enjoy it. From what he's read, not many people get this and they completely love Kratom. Anyone else out there who does?

The first and only time SWIM tried kratom (SWIM is experience opiate lover) swim was feeling bliss for a good hour or two then suddenly felt a very sick feeling in his stomach and felt nasauted and like shit the rest of the day.

SWIM will hold out for the more traditional pharm opiates :[

SWIM had this expirience last night.
Had the sweats too. vomited and felt much nicer.

nausea is generally a good sign that one took too much, a hangover from Kratom is a little unusual but could be attributed to bad quality (which could also be a reason for nausea).
Some pepole react badly to Bali Kratom while others to Thai.
Its unfortuantely something one has to experiment with until one finds the right strain and amount.

Does alchohol effect it? SWIM usually has a couple beers at night and she said this was the case on the 2 occasions she did it.

SWIM knows a random guy who likes Kratom and he usually washes down about 10 grams of standard commercial ground leaf with a glass of water, now apparently this guy had his best experience when he stuck to the kratom and nothing else.....

He was telling SWIM how he once knocked back the usual Kratom and water mix and met up with some buddies in a bar and had some drinks (Yes too many drinks apparently)

..... The next morning he was greeted by a near head explosion and a couple of hours rolling around on the floor from the worst hungover head throbbing action ever concieved.

He also told SWIM about this other time when the random guy only had a couple of alcoholic beverages with his Kratom experience and then discovered a throbbing niggling headache as the result.

SWIM has listened to these stories and using SWIMS powers of deduction worked out that heads are supposed to feel good with no threat of detonation and so SWIM will not mix ever again and live happily ever after thanks in part to SWIMS knowledge that moderation and self control play an important role when using any substance which pleasurably intoxicates SWIM.
