Effects - Swim got his hands on a 60mg Avinz (morphine sulfate, swim believes?)

Swim posted another thread in the general opiate forums more directed to Methadone. Swim's been using Codeine and Hydrocodone off on and for about 3 - 4 months, but usually only 1 - 3 times a week when swim is taking them. Therefore swim has a moderate tolerance, but swim's no junkie.

Swim wanted to his hands on some Oxycontin 40mgs, but they're expensive as fuck so swim went in on a deal for 1 60mg Avinz (morphine sulfate) for 10 dollars, which is amazing, so swim hears .

Swim's questions are; if 35 mg of hydrocodone are enough for a very very euphoric NODDDD, then should swim take all 60 mg of MS?

2.) can they be insufflated? They're time release, but are they the same as ocs where you can lick off the coating?

and
3.) how much euphoria should swim expect? swim loves the euphoric feeling of a 35 mg hydro dose, but swim thought Methadone was rather weak. As well as codeine.

AY Swimmers. swim just got his hands on 2 more of these puppies, and is wondering what the oral bioavailability of morphine is compared to hydrocodone.

Swim believes hydrocodone is much stronger taken orally, and he gets a wonderful nod on 35 - 40 mg. Swim is just wondering if he should take both 60 mg tabs if he is pretty opiate tolerate.

Swim has 1 60mg Avinza ER, would it be okay for an opiate tolerant user to crack the extended release capsule off, and snort the balls inside?!?!?! Swim did this and ate the balls with applesauce and says it feels kind of weak. Plus morphine is stronger when insufflated right?

Ok swim thinks that hydrocodone is good oraally. swim can take about 6 -8 lortabs 10's before swim feels anything but that is only because swim had been taking these everyday for years and just recently slowed down enough to get swims tolerance back down.

swim has also been taking ms 60 for years. before swim even had a tolerance swim was able to take way too many 60's orally without even feeling a thing. swim thinks that if swiy is looking for a good high then swiy must use a different method. Obviously iv'ing it would be the best high but for someone with out a tolerance for thats specific drug, iv'ing a whole 60 would not be advised. even though swiy may have a high opiate tolerance swiy could still iv 15 mg and feel lots better than eating 4 60's. the problem with that is that iv'ing pills is like playing with fire. especially if it is extended release. there are so many things in those pills that will harm the human body and swiy can never fully remove them. if swiy decides to go the iv route then swiy must be willing to accept the bodily harm to follow.

swiy could snort these pills and get off but swim had some major issues with it gunking up in the nose, although swim never experienced the burning that many mention they feel. this method will produce a decent high.


swim has never tried inserting it rectally but has heard many good testimonies about.

swim feels the need to warn swiy that injecting it may not be a good idea because it feels too good. swim has had problems putting this method down.

SWIM ended up taking both capsules, unscrewing them, and dissolving and swallowing the medicine in his mouth, and had very little effects. Swim knows he would love the high off of morphine IV, but is scared of IVing himself. Swim is sure he's just scared because he's never done it before, but as for orally taking Avinzas, NO THANK YOU!!! Swim would much rather spend 15 bucks on 7 vics than these let downs.

It seems that swim is getting a good high on hydrocodone which is a much weaker drug than morphine sulphate or oxy. So for my swim took 6 30mg of oxycodone a day a few years ago. Quite a large dose I think, anywho for the morphine currently my swim can take a 15 mg Morphine Sulphate IR and feel nice and function as a normal human being. Although if this swim wanted to get really feeling great swim would take about 30 mg. For a beginner practice with a lower dose is suggested. Don't use too much if you don't have to because then swim will be all out and sad Tolerance builds fast though so swim will start needing much more in a few days to a week if using everyday.

Is there any particular reason why swim isn't feeling the effects of morphine sulfate as strong as he does hydrocodone, and even larger doses of codeine? Doesn't codeine convert to morphine in your liver??

Is there any direct pharmacological reason why swim would feel codeine and hydro stronger than morphine sulfate, other than the fact that morphine's oral bioavailability is significantly less? because swim took 120 mg of morphine sulfate orally, and had next to NO results... this baffles swim.

I can’t really speak to the specifics of hydrocodone, however, this cat I know says that oxycodone is about 1.5 times stronger than morphine, which is something he knows as he is prescribed 80mg Oxycontin/2 twice a day and for breakthrough pain 4 Roxicodone (30mg) daily. That cat is lucky to have at least insurance since his pain sucks. Recently, the cat was prescribed Avinza (60mg), which is once daytime release garbage. He thinks that besides not being as strong as oxycodone that only about 20-30% crosses the blood-brain barrier and most goes to skeletal muscles and other non-CNS stuff.

Because of this suckness of the Avinza, he has been researching and read of people doing “crisping” and “cold water extraction” to separate the goods from the bads. Then apparently, he has read of numerous methods of use. He settled on the cold-water extraction and just drank the stuff to see what would happen since he has all his OC/Roxicodone and it’s not like the Avinza would be wasted since they suck. What he said was that the intensity seemed to be equal to or slightly stronger than the 30mg Roxicodone. Although, the duration was slightly shorter or just about as long as the Roxis. He also said that there was a more general feeling of warmth and a lot of feeling in the eyes.

I am not posting a link as that is against the rules, however, I didn’t read anywhere that mentioning a name was forbidden (I could be wrong since I don’t always pay attention despite having a script for Adderall). In SWIM's oppinion Avinza is alright . After all I mean we're talking about "M".You need to realize that the gel cap is not what is time coated(which I'm sure SWIM already know) it is the actual beads.By crushing/"crisping" them one would be releasing the time coating.SWIM also feels however that IVing is the better method when it comes to "M".Do a search like what was mentioned above and I'm sure SWIM will find what he is looking for.Good Luck!!
