The guide to remember SWIM thinks, is that anything Iv'd is around 3 times the strength of other routes of administration. This is a guide though!

For your first time you really wanna be doing the smallest amount possible, 1 point something like that. Test it on foil first too. To dissolve the gear, which SWIM presumes is standard Afghan Brown Heroin is normal for Europe, SWIy should use citric acid or ascorbic acid, you shouldn't need to use loads, a very small finger pinch is often enough. Add a small amount of water to the ingredients, SWIM uses 1ml syringes and draws the water with this and uses around 0.5ml to 0.7ml of water. Boil it up in the spoon or DaniCup. Tourniquet off the area your using, sight the vein, (remembering the old saying of if the blood is pink stop and think, if it's red go ahead) swab the area of intended injection, insert the syringe in the direction of the heart never in the opposite direction. Loosen tourniquet, Pull back the plunger to make sure you have the vein, a small trail of blood should be seen in the barrel, then insert the solution. Swab off the area as you remove the needle.

Remember be safe and clean.

Best not to use alcohol to swab after the shot, it causes bruising. Use a clean gauze or something similar.

Better to use an alcohol swab than a dirty piece of rag (or better stil an alcohol free swab if available)... If it's all that's available then it's preferred. Some exchanges have Danicups they provide the filter and a swab, along with the sterilized spoon.

SWIy should forget his first shoot. he has probably done it by now but he'd been better to smoke it. Especially the gear over in the uk as it's brown afghani smoking gear.If anything wait till you get some white gear or pharmaceutical.You know the real advice- just leave it.

SWIM finds it slightly harder to hit the vein if shooting in the hand and it can be slightly more painful but for SWIM, he ran out of places in his arms so he had to resort to his hands and it worked and when trying to get that shot, SWIM didn't care about the pain cuz he knew that he would feel good once he pushed the plunger down

swim guesses the arm is the best/least painful part of the body to do it?

swim is also wondering how much a first timer should get to IV. Would a half gram be enough or should he get a whole gram? also how much is in a "bag" or a "40"? thanks

definitely don't do 1/2g if no tolerance and even if SWIY did have some tolerance, SWIM recommends SWIY start out smaller since they have never IV'ed before....remember to start out small as SWIY can always keep doing more in order to reach the desired affect; however, if SWIY does too much at first, once in the body, its hard to reduce that and the only thing SWIM knows that will work is NARCAN which isn't a guarantee to revive ya

swim doesn't mean shooting a 1/2g all at once, swim means purchasing a half and doing it throughout an evening, but swim hears it lasts 4-6 hours so only doing it twice in an evening would be good, true?

Also, is it good to start with a match-head size of goo, swim heard this searching the forums.

Is a tenth of a gram or a "pack" the standard size that gets sold? Swim has only done blow in terms of "hard drugs" and knows he can get a half, a gram, etc. but swim isn't sure what he'd request once he meets his guy. Are they generally sold in tenths? halves?

don't shoot up a whole gram or half gram or swiy will be dead (if he doesnt have a tolerance to IVing). If a bag is equal to what is a "pack" around here, then it is a tenth of a gram. Swim would try shooting half a pack for his first time, jsut to be safe.

Swiy needs to be really careful.. These other swims have been telling you this or that amount quality there is no way to know what the quality is for swiy dope and there dope.. It could be disastrously different. And could lead to death.. The only way to know is for you to test it your self.. smoke some.. see how potent it is and than for there only use to smallest amount possible and only inject enough of the syringe to feel the effects stop and guage how swiy would feel after the rest...

Remember people have died after shooting dope over a night and been fine but then went to sleep and died in there sleep.

Just be careful and use the smallest amount possible when shooting.. swim has bought 20s and shot them(he had massive tolerance) and has not felt anything... And other times bought 10s and shot them and it nearly killed him.

so you're saying swim should start by smoking a tiny bit? maybe take one hit, and wait a few mins, then take another hit if it feels weak?

swim is fine for just shooting a tiny little bit to start, he just wants to know what's safe yet will affect him the way it should *shrug*

over here a bag is £10 and (supposed to be) 100mg.
first time i done just half a bag(and remember this is scotland so not the purest of kit) and it was more than enough.
make sure youre stuffs clean too

SuicidalSoldier, in Fife bags now contain 200mg; despite going back down to 100 at the height of the drought (200 has been the standard for about 18 months), it's back up at 200, and SWIM thinks the quality is generally quite good - did this not happen in the area SWIY scores?

Agree with Infekt - even half a gram is definetely not the amount to start shooting at. A gram sounds like suicide.

If it's the first experience of Heroin, smoking it is the best option - not only out of safety, but it isn't really neccessary to inject when one has no tolerance; SWIM found that at this stage smoking produced the desired effect.

Even for someone used to smoking, SWIM would agree that half of a 100mg/0.1g bag is enough to start with.

swim is used to having to get say, 0.5g of blow, one can't get quarter grams here. for heroin swim assumed you can only get 0.5g or 1.0g, but it seems like the standard amount sold would be quite a bit less, like swiy says 100mg..?

yeah. because you dont really need that much kit to get you high unless youve a tolerance, most dealers will sell little bags. plus many addicts can barely afford a bag never mind a gram.

Standard size in U.S. is a point(0.1g). Black tar is dirty cheap right now.
