that was quite an awesome story i thought.

he had a good point about alcoholic cops going to rehab, and ones hooked on dope get let go all cos there is that stigma along with heroin...

if he did his job properly like he did, didnt worry about tickets and revenue for the government, other cops so far up each other should take a leaf outta his book,
and as for his heroin use, it didnt affect the way he worked or treated ppl, didnt let the heroin turn him into a psycho or a dodgy cop who would confiscate and keep it for themselves so i dont think i see a problem with that.
i beleive its simply the same as an alcoholic, using what they use in moderation to feel at ease and let them live a comfortable life so good on him for not letting the heroin take over completely

Just shows though that no matter how well a person can function as an addict, there's always going to come a time where something will force having to change
Its invevitable.

Yea cool story Its good to hear a story where the junkie is not a hopeless case or total scumbag for a change
