blood on the wall - advice needed
Recently my sister went out of town and had some folks watching her place. She called me today to ask my advice on the state that she found her bathroom in.
In front of the commode there were numberous scuff marks on the white tile and (the smoking gun...) a tiny arc of blood sprayed on the wall - the kind that you might find if one squirted a syringe. Now I know that this is a pretty clear sign of intravenous drug use but have always wondered why. Is it from cleaning the rig with water? Why does the spray look undiluted? Is there another explanation? Thanks, Mad Cow |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
"TINY arc of blood"
after swiS shot....the plunger, although it was all the way down, there is still a tiny bit of blood in the pin itself (and the teeny tiny bit between the pin/plunger bottom). Anyway, after shooting, swiS would always take the fit, and push hard on the plunger top, always a small amount of blood dropped out. If one were to pull the plunger back, and "Shove" it back fast....The air pressure would "Blast" this tiny amount of blood out of the fit onto whatever.... Hope that's what swiYour lookin' for? Let swiS know? Caio.....S |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
Yeah, thank you both for the answer. It makes total sense.
How freaking rude! Do the scuff marks in front of the WC mean anything to anyone? I was kind of thinking about the toes... |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
scuff marks... you must elaborate .. could be from where they dropped the spoon and burnt residue rubbed off.

Sorry, I can't elaborate as I have not seen them. I'll ask my sis what they looked like.
thanks, |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
Ever seen the film
Permanent Midnight? I looked for a You Tube video of him (Ben Stiller) injecting and then spraying the blood on the celling, it seems he always did it when injecting. At the start of the film he is injecting in a toilet and starts spraying the blood on the wall and the spray starts to write the words 'Permanent Midnight'.It was ages ago since i had seen it but that's how i recall it. It's horrible disgusting shit and reminds me of Pete Doherty Blood interview, he also used blood as a "pigment" to make "paintings" i think people actually would like to buy these fucking disgusting things. Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
I am the sister. Thanks, everyone, for the input. The scuff marks on the tile wall seem to be from the sole of a shoe. Someone sat on the toilet and propped their feet up on the wall below the spot where the blood was. The arc of blood was miniscule, not a dramatic gash, but tiny evenly spaced pin pricks, barely visible unless you are really studying the tile. Definitely blood, though, and different from any mark I have seen in my one person apartment. I asked my brother for help with identifying that specific mark, and here we are. Any feedback is appreciated.

I am the pater familias....
Just kidding, thanks Sis. madcow201 added 1 Minutes and 23 Seconds later... Maybe you want to bring up the moral dilemma that this raises vis the sprayer... Last edited by madcow201; 08-08-2008 at 20:26. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
Let me recap.
I asked a dear friend to water plants in my house while on vacation. I later find out that dear friend brought her fiance and the fiance's two young children on a couple visits. The fiance is a chef at a private club in town, a recently dry alcoholic, and has a history of paranoia, anger, and violence while drunk. Sweet guy, but I do not trust him. LOTS of ink, too, incidentally, not that I care. Dear friend and the kids watered the yard and played with the cats. Within a day of my return, I find the aforementioned footprints on the wall, as well as the blood. My bathroom is white and clean, almost lab like. My dilemma: do I, or should I, discuss this with the dear friend? Am I beyond a shadow of a doubt? I would lose her as a friend, break up a marriage, etc, if I tell her of my suspicions. I know she does not know. I know it is not her who is the user. Many scenarios run through my head: p/t custody young children acting as drug trigger, chef junkie stats, replacing one addiction for another, you name it. Next week I plan to visit her home, use the loo, and inspect the facilities. I am thinking of dropping it if I cannot find more blood. I am upset and a bit freaked that someone may have shot up in my home. I came to this site to find out if that kind of blood pattern is possible, and if someone can hide needle use, while successfully holding down a job. Thanks for reading, tutticaro |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
This blood mark, if it isn't a spray pattern followed by lots of little spec's then it probably isn't from a syringe, it could be a few things and it might not even be blood. Maybe someone cut their foot and somehow the footprint and blood are related.
It's definitely not enough to accuse someone of shooting up whatever it may have been. If someone was irresponsible or just didn't care then believe me there would be a SPRAY of blood and not just little specks or dots. That Jerry Stahl Permanent Midnight thing wasn't part of injecting, he just did that because he probably liked to spray his blood on the bathrooms of peoples ceilings. |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
Could it be from a syringe - possibly. Are there other explanations - Definitely. It doesn't sound like enough proof to accuse someone. It's jumping to conclusions to assume the blood marks were cause by a syringe - it's most likely something else.

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
swim has sometimes drawn back into a syringe to make sure he is in, then he cant find the spot and after a few moments the blood in the syringe thickens and blocks the syringe, i know i aint the only one whos had this problem...
anyways swim then takes the syringe out, gets a few tissues and puts enough pressure on the plunger to force the clotted blood out... he is guilty of once or twice hitting the wall by accident, he mostly didnt know he did until a while after so i think that could be a possibility... if the clot didnt shoot out, he would then just pull the plunger out, pour the liquid into something sterile, get a new syringe and re-filter. swim hopes he didnt gross any1 out or offend any1 as this is just one of the probs u can have when iv'ing |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
phew, i was hoping someone could back swim up on that one!
since swim has been using his fingers, he hasnt had more than 1 or 2 blockages, where as when he used to use his hands and wrist he would have around a 50% success rate.. the sprinkles of blood in front of the toilet are definately from a syringe, no way would it be from a cut in a foot or something like that as the drops would be larger and smudges everywhere |

Re: blood on the wall - advice needed
Thank you, everyone, for your honest opinions and advice. The blood mark was tiiiiny dots, all in a perfect arc, on a wall, about hip height. Maybe the larger spray was wiped off, but the user did not see the tiny one? But I think I will just store this all in my brain for now, and let it sit, rather than jump to unnecessary conclusions or accusations. I have learned that things usually work themselves out in life. Thanks again, I mean it.
