Injecting - IV Coke preparation issue

a friend of swims came over theother night with 3 grams of coke that he had bought and wanted to share, and said he had had aa couple of lines and it seemed ok (it wasnt from his usual dealer or a dealer that swim knew) i had a line and all seemed fine but swim being the junkie he is suggested shooting it-swim is a experienced IV'er of everything practically but swims mate had had only shot H before-so after i sold the idea to him he was raring to go and heres the BUT...But when they added coke to water on the spoon it would not dissolve,they needed to add a little heat to make it dissolve but that left a little oily residue floating on top of the mix which puzzled swim but swim thought the filter will sort that out.when we went to shoot it we couldnt as it seemed to kinda crystallise in the syringe and block the syringe (they were 29G size by the way, maybe a little small for coke?)DOes anyone know why any of this happened?shit coke?one of the cuts in the coke?but it was ok snorted...swims ma\te was VERY dissapointed because swim had talked it up after all shooting coke IS great.thanks to any replys in advance

even if this worked out for you .. its a very dangerous idea. One could easily die. its very damaging on the heart.. there is no way to tell what your coke was cut with.

Just to make clear to any readers, I am not asking an opinion of what they think was in the coke but whether they think any external factors could have contributed ie was my syringe size to small and thats why it blocked?or could it be because i used plain old tap water instead of my normal boiled water or indeed would the fact it was kind of crystallising just imply it was shit product?

Cocaine should dissolve in water on contact; most likely the product was cut to crap, injecting without extensive purification is not recommended.

swim gets this all the time now with coke in the uk. swiy is better letting it go solid on the spoon then using a filter. The hardend oil can be smoked

it sounds like cocaine cut with baking soda. think about it. it was heated up in water and an oily residue came up? that sounds like crack. that would also explain why it wouldn't go through the needle cause it's being crystalized from the reaction. swim learned to never use heat when injecting cocaine.

Cocaine hydrochloride should never need any heat to dissolve, it is extremely water soluble and dissolves on contact with water; 500mg completely dissolves in a few seconds depending on how much water/saline is used, heating it could make certain cuts dissolve and end up in the syringe which not a good thing.
