expert needed on poppy pods with mould
alright, swim's been harvesting some pods lately, outdoor-grown, netherlands, p somniferum. he has no interest in milking/latexing, at the moment he'd prefer to grind the dried pods [get the seeds out first] n NOT EVEN make a tea with that, but just ingest the powder. ok, fine, bout half his harvest is not moulded [slightly] nor suspicious of a little rot inside. really bad pods he threw away oc. but because he's been guerilla-harvesting [taking away from various peoples gardens in his town, during nightly manoeuvres] he got from totally dry n died pods to green pre-ripe pods n everything in between. those are all dry now, but looking [very] critically there's an amount of suspicious pods: a little bit of mould could or could not be seen, or a little discolouration might [or not] indicate some rotting has taken place.
swim thinks he can conclude that opium [cfo] made from poppy straw [dried pods and other plant material] will have included some 'suspicious' material and that this doesnt influence the quality of the endproduct: it's bonafide opium, fine to be smoked. BUT will [some] fungus and/or rot influence a swims papaverpowder-eating experience -> will he get [very] sick from those f#$$%%ers ??? the pods have been dried thouroughly, the mould n stuff should be dead or not ? and the possibly rotted spots aren't rotting anymore now, thats been stopped right ??? is he overlooking something ? and, if he'd decide to make a tea anyway, would the 80 degrees treatment alter something of the toxicity ??? he read that pasteurising [=bring to boil for a few seconds, cool down, bring to boil again, immediately cool again] should 'kill/detoxify' the mould, BUT how about possible rot ??? will this be detoxified then as well? comments and help'll be much appreciated!!!! Re: expert needed on poppy pods with mould
DO NOT use them if they where ever moldy....mold can literally resurrect and start growing again when exposed to water (including stomach fluids).

Re: expert needed on poppy pods with mould
in swims exp rippin off swims dealers he used a lot of non somni pods. somni pods usually have a smaller sharper and non fuzzy 'crown'. * <-just like that. rounded crowns suck. and smokin or eatin a bunch of weak ass pods aint worth shit. mold aint really that sketchy dude. just make your shit and take a small dose and see if any feelings differentiating from the normal experiance are attributable to mold. id suggest you mist the pods very very very very lightly then bake in oven for a couple mins th\ill crispy on <100. the nasty shit should flake more than the pods.
