Lsd long or short term effects

Hi
Swim was wondering if lsd is not toxic to human body and had no damage to brain like mdma what is the reason to became so "stupid"? Your memory is not too good and you are not interested for anything (work, comunicaton etc.)
Swim took lsd for about 6 times in 3 months and see some of theese effects, for example when telling some story swim forgets what he's trying to say.Swim had ecstasy for about a year and helf and felt like this few times but in a different way.Is this a short term effect, is there a reason to be whory?

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

And the study linking MDMA to organic brain-damage was faked by the US government. They didn't use MDMA in the study. They substituted methamphetamine - showing methamphetamine causes brain-damage. Methamphetamine is legal in the USA and available by prescription.

LSD has never been shown to cause brain-damage.

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

The real reason why swim is whory is because of swims friends, they triping for about one year and they are and they look stupid and they can't think like normal persons (lost in universe)...My question was what is the cause? What is the minimum period from tripin to tripin?Obiusly swiy don't understand what swim trying to say here.

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

if one could be more specific of how many times they tripping in this period. if it is a whole year, then that type of abuse can have personality disorders. by the way how much has swey read so far? seeing you're from croatia. smurf is really getting pictures of these hostel movie people in his mind after hearing this. minimum period hmmm. it all depends, one builds up tolerance quickly & smurf functions fine on lsd. as smurf said read. what are these lsd forms been taken look like? blotters? dots? it does sound like a whorying situation...

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

Swims friends take lsd one year for about once or twice a month. For swim lsd is very good because swim don't have any bad feelings next day no depresion no anxiety etc.But the problem is that swim is worried because some people that swim knows have f*cked up their lifes because of lsd.Best part is that everybody saying that lsd is much less dangerous than ecstasy or meth, maybe it is for your body, but brain?People that swim knows (lots of them) who are taking ecstasy for a longer period they are maybe depresed, nervous but thinking normaly...people who are taking lsd they are cam, not interested for anything, they don't understend lots of thing, can't spell a word...they are much more f*cked up in brain.Swim doesn't understand what is the cause for that if lsd is non toxic and less damaging for brain. Will that pass with some period of time or not when stop using it?

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

Swims taken over 500 hits of LSD and hasn't noticed any brain damage. He does as well as he always has on IQ tests, fully functional productive member of society even. So at least is his experience, no long term damage.

Maybe there's a possibility that swiy is mis-interpreting symptoms or the symptoms are caused by something else? 'Not interested for anything' - does this mean that they no longer have interest in some of the things they used to have interest in and would rather discuss philosophy? 'They don't understand lots of things' - could be

Swiy will have to be a little more specific for anybody to understand exactly what swiy's concerns are.

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

Swim work as a car sailer and it's very important for swim that his brain is ok, but swim lost desire for comunication with people, desire for job and lsd is defenetly a cause because swim don't take any other drugs anymore.Reason is maybe that when swim is triping he feel like a child in dream world and he's so happy but than when reality world comes back swim is so sad and got no will to do anything, he's not tooking much and everybody ask him what is wrong with him. That is some of swims effects after using lsd and they last for about a week from using it.

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

That makes sense. In swims opinion, this is not a sign of any brain damage. It's more a sign of how LSD can change the way one thinks.

One thing that the LSD may be showing swiy's friend is that there might be need for a career change - something more creative. That all depends on circumstance and opportunity though and something that should be thought about without the influence of psychedelics before a decision be made.

If it's not possible to make a positive change to fix the issues that LSD may have brought up, it may be advisable to discontinue use until swiy's friend is in a better mind state.

Swim would say that the LSD has had an effect on thinking patterns but this isn't a sign of longterm brain damage. And it will fade with time if psychedelics are stopped.

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

Thanks alot. Finally we understand eachother.Probably that is the reason why swims friends are kind a stupid when using it and swim was affraid that can be long term.

Chili added 62 Minutes and 7 Seconds later...

Swim has one more question for swiy, what is normal time period from tripin to tripin because of some kind of recovery, health or tolerance? Is it ok to take lsd every 2 or 3 weeks? Is it dangerous like mdma if swiy use it too much?

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

Chili, i think it is important to note that although LSD has no documented physical toxic affect you still need to give your mind time to process the overwhelming information and revelations you've had during the trip. If you simply look at LSD's relatively harmless physical effects you could take it every day...but that's missing the point.

signs of anxiety and depression after a trip is your mind and body telling you to listen...so don't just drop another tab and hope it will be okay.

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

SWIM has always thought that during and after an LSD trip, he feels like he knows more than he ever has before. At the same time though, SWIM knows people who have done LSD much more than he and seem to be the classic "burned out". "heyyyy duuuuude OH MY GOD jerrcy garcia is playin in my fucking brain maaaaan"

That's right, they are "burned out" and swim wants to know what is the cause of that burning out feeling.

Re: Lsd long or short term effects

acid fatigue. your body may be physically tired from enduring 14 hour sessions and your mind is exhausted.

LSD hypothetically rewires your brain. you need to give it a rest every now and again or you will be fried out.
