Poppy pod addiction-how long?
The general guide to NOT becoming addicted to any kind of opiate seems to be avoiding daily usage for periods of 4-6 weeks, at least in terms of physical withdrawl.
Do dried pods differ in any way from other opiates in this regard. SWIM has read that PT can cause pretty nasty long-lasting withdrawls and worries that he may be overdoing it at times. Can anySWIM recommend a sensible regime by way of taking extended breaks etc? SWIM also has quite a few other ethnos he wants to try, for medical and recreational reasons, and worries that by overdoing the poppies he may be unable to appreciate other useful plants like kava or mulungu to name two. Does any one else think that too much PT may affect SWIM's enjoyment of other ethnos? |
