How to induce vomitting in humans.

How would a swim induce vomiting in a situation. Some swim swallows to much of something accidentally. And would like to have what ever he accidentally swallowed or does not want the effects..

swim knows that the hospital is the best bet but what if this is not an option.

What about a finger down your throat to make you gag?

Ipicac is gonna make you sick as hell, it will definitely do the job, down to the bottom of your stomache.

How about something nasty, one day my friend needed to throw up and my other friend came up to him and started taunting him about eating hot sweaty dirty rotten pussy. He was so graphic it worked.

151 won't make me throw up, it will just make me wish i hadn't drank it. FIRE!

EMT's carry a plastic-gagger device. A spoon works as well. Or your finger.

Syrup of Ipecac takes 10 minutes or longer. It's use has all but been abandoned. Most pharmacies don't even carry it anymore. Takes too long to work, and idiots pouring it down the throats of people who drank acids/caustics caused many problems. Not to mention the occasional prankster.

Never induce vomiting in a person unless you have established the nature of the poison consumed. No acids/alkalies that burn flesh - you'll toast 'em twice. And no petroleum distillates. If these come back up and are inhaled into the lungs, the person can drown internally. Never induce vomiting in an unconscious subject - choking & drowning is what this can do.

It's best, unless you know what you are doing, to wait for trained professionals to arrive. If the person is unconscious and on their backs, roll them over on their side in case they vomit - otherwise they may choke and die.

The old finger down the throat works a charm but if one can't bring themselves around to doing that downing milk mixed with mustard works (though personally the finger gag seems more appealing).
