What Dose of salvia divinorum?

This will be my first time using Salvia, I have the 10X extract (standardised) and was wondering how much should I start off with?

10x to start off might be a little intense so I would either reccomend using a very small dose..or getting plain leaf of 5x stuff.. be careful dosing the 10x stuff and I would not reccomend for a first timer...anyways, just my advice.

If I stated on 5X stuff, what ammount would you suggest me using? (for 10X I would just half it)I got the 10Xsothere is less smoke to inhale.





I got 1g of salvia 10X that should have 25mg salvinorin A in it.

Erowid says 1/15-1/6 a g for a normal 5x trip..although for first time, you might wanna go on the light end of that...1/20-1/25 g maybe or 10x? Dunno..I'm a fresh leaf squib guy so I dont know smoking amounts..sorry.

Did my first go. That is some wierd sh*t. I got quite heavy and then it fealt like there was someone behind me holding my arms. It fealt verry peaceful, almost like a mate of mine that is in Cardiff was telling me that its ok, everything was cool, almost guiding me to put the pipe down, but all of this passed quite quickly. Now I keep smilling and feal wonderful, so alive and happy. everything feals so clear and calming, I just can't stop grinning as I type this, I feal like I should share this insight with people, but I can't seem to express it.


I took about 1/30 of a gram of 10X, everything is starting to come back to normal now, but I am still left with thisWarm Glow. Peace and happyness bubbleing up from inside. Everything just feals so clear, peaceful and WONDERFUL.

Very cool, sounds like you had a great experience with a low dose..this is why I like the quid method..it is slow and easy...not to intense, I'm glad you had a good time with Lady S. Hope your next experience is just as good.

The active principal of Salvia divinorum is a diterpenoid compound called salvinorin A. The average concentration of salvinorin A in Salvia divinorum leaves is about 2.5 mg per gram. A moderate smoked dose of salvinorin A for a person of average sensitivity is 0.5 mg. Therefore, 200 mg (1/5 gram) of average-strength Salvia divinorum leaves contains enough salvinorin A to produce moderate effects in a person of average sensitivity. In practice however, one may need to use about twice this dose (i.e. 400 mg, or 2/5 gram), because some salvinorin A is probably decomposed during burning, some is lost in smoke that escapes during smoking, and some is not fully absorbed in the lungs and is thus lost upon exhaling.

How much should i get if i want to do a medium level trip twice?

Ive experienced 5x, 10x extract before. However I have never tried the 20x extract which is extremely rare and hard to find and contains 72mg of pure salvinorin-A per gram.



Was thinking of smoking 1g of the 20x with some leaves..



Has anyone tried the 20x before ?

Yup, its the best in my opinion. I have smoked the 5x and the 10x, and found both didnt do much for me. You will so not even need a gram. I load my extremely small 1 hit pipe and soar like a rocket. It isnt that hard to find either. I bought an oz online from a vendor, and it is exceptional. I know it sounds psychotic to but an oz, but with the way they have been schedualing things lately, I wanted to make sure I had plenty.You will pay a good price for it tho.
