To be honest, SWIM doesn't do too many drugs (seriously-- don't laugh), and the thing that he gets hung up on is stories of getting ripped off. SWIM would try every drug on the planet if it weren't for the heavily-inflated prices and the chance of being ripped off. SWIM knows a lot of dealers of various substances, but he chooses not to even associate, let alone purchase drugs, from these people due to the prolonged periods severe defamation and oppression these people incited on SWIM during his years of study with them.

rule of thumb when buying heroin from a new dealer: always ask for a tester first. If it's a dealer serious about getting a customer, he'll do it. This is the best way to weed out the bad ones from the good ones. though of course, they may decide to jack you afterward.

On the streets they often say "Quick, police" so you wont even look cause often it is the police, and there are so many muftis, who wants to risk jail for checking they didn't get ripped off.

Even dealers get ripped off by suppliers. A Swim lost several thousand dollars worth this way.

It can either be random dealers who won't let you see/check product, or the type that are good for even months, but sometimes slip up.

For example, Robbed at gunpoint (it was a .45 cal with hollowtip bullets) for 1,300. It was a set up put together by a previously no-problems dealer. The dealer had gotten addicted to his product (H) and looked for an easy way out of his problems. This was hiring two gun wielding thugs to violently rob Swim and his poor, unarmed friends.

Swim HATES buying drugs. He would much rather buy pharms from older people, and make/grow everything he can on his own. Swim has never been able to befriend an honest, reliable dealer.

SWIM has been given brick dust and foundation in place of Heroin twice and both times were a teenth. Good job I never pinned back then

SWIM had a dealer that he had been going to for months. The guy was always pretty reliable and he grew to trust the guy. SWIM was buy 2 g's of coke, and his supplier was unavalaible at the time. So he just gave him the money, so the dealer could get the coke, and he could come buy and pick it up. When SWIM came back the next day he said he didn't have the coke or money, and basically just told SWIM to fuck off.

Nearly twenty years ago a friend of mine (not SWIM) was visiting Amsterdam with his buddy for the first time. They took the train from Schiphol to Centraal and, upon arriving at Centraal station (a place literally a stone's throw from a bunch of coffeeshops), were approached by a guy offering to sell them some hash.

Being young, naive and, I've got to say, particularly stupid in this case, they took a look at the "hash" in the baggie and paid up. It being twenty years ago, they were still very uptight at handling dope in a public place, regardless of being in Amsterdam, so they waited until they got to their hostel before inspecting it further, being sure to pick up some skins on the way, after all, they were going roll themselves a monster of a fat one!

I'm sure they probably passed a few coffeeshops on their way to the hostel.

It would have been a good idea to go into one and to have purchased some actual hash.

After all, it's not like they were going to be able to smoke that liquorice they had bought at the station.

Little fishy and some friends once bought some base and handed over some money for pills which the person was going to return with, however he never did get the pills. Lesson learned, don't hand money over before getting your product.

Also phoned a dealer who little fishy used to get pills off regularly but he gave him the number of someone closer in the area, he went to collect the pills but as he was pissed never checked them and when he returned to pub found they were just semi-crushed up random pills like paracetamol or something.

In the illegal drugs world everyone gets burned at sometime.

When my friend first starting doing ecstasty he bought a roll (100 pills incase you dont know lol) and they were "white E's".

Swim once bought a quarter pound of weed only to find a half eaten cookie inside. It weighed out 112g with the cookie

Another time swim bought some "ecstasy." The dealer said, "Yeah man these are the new white snowflakes they're fuckin bomb." Of course swim was all excited and decided to taste them when he got home. Swim tasted it and thought to himself, "Tastes kind of like spearmint." It took a few seconds until swim realized the joke was on him. The so called "white snowflakes" were in fact breath mints, hence the press on the tablet.

Nobody once had a street dealer approach him with a dime bag of "weed", bad enough it was a clear bag that clearly showed it to be brown crumbs, but he even offered to let me smell the bloody Lipton Tea so I'd know how good it was. Nobody couldn't stop laughing, and the guy actually had the gall to keep pushing it on me till I threatened to call for cops. Bloody tea....

This kid nobody knew was ripping people off with 3 day old OJ and rye bread he was passing off as home brewed acid. Not kidding, and one look at the kid should have told them to think better of this.

when swim was 13 he bought a large bag of psilocybin mushrooms only to find out they were normal store bought mushrooms.

Swim once had a guy try to sell him extra strength ex-lax as ecstasy. Small round pills that had 'ex' on one side. Guy say that it was really good 'EX'. lol.

Swim's friend bought some 'weed' off a crackhead once. It was a weed stem (swim thinks) with caked oregano on it. Swim felt really bad for his friend as he was just leaving town and had spent is last spare change on it. He actually smoked half a joint before admitting that he got ripped off. In all fairness the crackhead did a pretty good job with it. Swim took it to a very experienced older pot head and asked him what he thought of it. He said it must be like some maui-wowie shit and wanted to smoke some of it. Lol, took swim a minute to convince him it really was oregano.

Swim asked for the 'weed' and took it with him to visit some friends. There was this young kid who was always bugging swim and his friends, so swim gave him the 'weed'. Swim and friends had great fun watching him get 'high' from it. He smoked a whole joint and wanted more. He was acting rather drunk/high. Poor kid, he had no real drug experience previously. Swim and friends finally told him the truth....he was very very upset. Swim and friends felt bad about it afterwards and made it up to him. Swim guesses it was just a way of hazing him into the group.

And then swim has been ripped off all kinds of ways trying to score crack. Bad thing is swim didn't really care as long as he eventually got his fix. Once a 'trusted' dealer actually brought swim salt. Sorry to admit that swim (knowing that it was salt) actually tried to smoke some because he was so desperate for his high. Swim stays away from that shit now (the crack, not the salt).

SWIM can take the cake on this one.

He's out, looking for some pills with a friend, it's just about pub closing time in a really rough part of town.
They are pretty drunk, so are just asking anyone that goes by.

Conveniantly a pretty huge black guy hears and offers them some "bomb pills mate, come down this dark street so we can talk..."
Surprisingly he didn't rob SWIM there, but convinced him if he gave him the cash he'd go get some, even gave over his "phone number" (fake )

SWIM waited in the freezing cold for a good 30 minutes, saw a fight break out right in front of him and nearly got robbed.

He finally comes back
"alright boys, yea sorry about the wait, i'm just going to get them now, can you hand out these leaflets til I get back?"
"uhh..can SWIM just...maybe have the money back...?
"nah nah dont worry, i'll only be a second"

So they stood there, for another hour and a half in the bitter cold, handing out leaflets for a dealer that never returned.
Not only did he get the money, but he got paid for handing out those leaflets

Morale of the story: NEVER hand over cash til swiy've seen the product

There was an entire gang devoted to stealing ravers' money through force, peddling fake drugs, and starting fights in the New York City rave scene. They were called the Brooklyn Terror Squad or BTS. They're still around but they aren't as fervent as they once were. They liked to take advantage of people that randomly happened to get into raves. It's usually pretty easy to spot someone that doesn't have experience behind them at a rave and so they took advantage of this time after time.

Sadly, a friend of little fishys got approached at a NYE rave by 2 blokes claiming to be security and asked to search him. He consented emptying out his pockets, including his wallet, phone, drugs etc... they then run off with it. Too make matters worse his wallet contained his train ticket home also. That said, there was only a couple of incidents in the entire night in a venue packed with probably over 10,000 people, which is damn good in comparison to any smaller pubs or clubs in the UK. Must be because everyone is on MDMA...
