Effects - Colors and their abilities

When SWIY trips acid, do you ever get the ability to change the colors of your visual effects? For example, SWIM was just with a friend about ten minutes ago and SWIM's friend was staring at a trippy poster. The poster is a yin yang with some strange digital effect. SWIM's friend was noting that he was seeing a colored poster, when indeed this poster is black and white. So SWIM starting looking at the poster (note, SWIM ate three hits of acid about 6 hours ago) and he also noted that the poster did not look black and white. SWIM's friend said "The colors are green and blue and purple... etc" and SWIM stopped him and said it was just a rainbow. When SWIM said this, the entire poster turned green. (WHen SWIM typed the word green, the poster turned green again!!! ) Then SWIM's friend started saying different colors slowly. The poster would change colors accordingly. Every time he said a new color, the poster would turn that color, to both SWIM's friend and SWIM himself. Has anyone else ever experienced this?




PS Please forgive if SWIM's keyboarding skills may have disentegrated. WHile trying to post this thread, SWIM had some very very very intense hallucinations with that same poster... it's pretty amazing.

Perhaps the power of suggestion can be directed in order to see the colours one instructs. On high doses of hallucinogens, SWIM's visual field becomes altered massively. Colours seem to come in atmospheric waves across a room. It reminds SWIM of the "Purple Haze" Jimi Hendrix sang about. I believe it is connected with the experience of synaesthesia in psychedelics.

Many people have experienced the power of suggestion while on psychedelics. Like being told they will think of something. Or will see something. Etc. And then this happens. It's not mumbo-jumbo from a Hindi diety - it's the power of suggestion. It can be used for good, bad, and neutral purposes. In the case of color enjoyment - this is, in my book, a good experience.

After SWIM's friend left last night and after/during posting this thread, SWIM stared at the poster and instead of having a light tint of rainbow or green or whatever, the poster turned a very bright and flourescent yellow and the yin yang's black dot turned red. After this, the poster began to morph and come off of the paper... things SWIM could never fully explain again. The power of suggestion comes with the power of LSD. And the power of LSD is incredible.
