Effects - Wheres the euphoria at?

Tony the squiril has been using good quality H now for over a week non stop every night, he started out just snorting it now he's mostly smoking but snorting as well, tony the squiril is doing 2 and a half bags a night and feeling hardly any euphoria, just sedation, he can't get that loverly opiate feeling. Is this normal after only 1 weeks use, tony was getting the feel good feeling of half a bag and all of a sudden he couldn't get it from two, whats going on?

It's very possible that Tony isn't feeling the euphoric effects due to the methadone the night before. Methadone stays in your system for 24 - 28 hours, and has a cross tolerant effects that blocks other opiates while it's still in your system. This is because methadone is used to get junkies off the needle, therefore it still gives you some opiate effects, and satisfies the receptors so you don't have withdrawals, but blocks other opiates to try and prevent relapse.

I'm sure in a day or so Tony will get the same euphoria he's used to.

Definitely could be the methadone, as ThusSpokeZarathustra pointed out methadone can have a blocking effect, this is mainly due to the receptors being occupied already so the heroin doesn't have as many sites to bind too.

Tony hasn't had any done for 3 days now and he still can barely get any euphoria from smoking/snorting H, tony tells me he done 3 bags within 3 hours and all he got was sedation, what the hell?!!

methadone has a long half life. chill out out on all opiates for a couple more days see what happens.. you are very close to be coming addicted if you are not already.

Oh, and there are cases of methadone occupying the opioid receptors for up to 190 hours. It really depends on your metabolism, body weight, etc. A number of varying physiological factors.

Also there is a drought pretty much everywhere in the UK right now so I'd be suprised if the gear was 'good'.... no matter what you've been told as SWIM has been told and promised the same on many occasions recently and it's been chit.

Methadone can stop the H from working due to receptor saturation, how much meth are you on?

When SWIM was on 200mg of IV Methadone NO amount of brown worked....

Tony says it's very good gear, better than most anyways, in fact tonys mate who is also infact a sqiril is an x junkie so he knows what he speaks of in terms of good quality gear.

Tony's not taken any done for days he says since he nearly OD on the stuff, he took 280ml when 70-80ml was getting him off nicely. Tony is still miffed that he doesn't feel very euphoric on gear but perhaps he just needs a break.

Well, apparently the receptors get saturated at anything between 90-120mg's of meth. It does take a while to 'wear off'....

SWIM would still suspect the gear though, it may look ok, smell ok, run on the foil ok but STILL might be bunk or not all that.

SWIM is a nice guy and will be happy to tell you were you could send it to be properly tested

SWIM has some doubts about the euphoria too. SWIM only seems to feel it after SWIM has been strung out. All other times SWIM just feels on a level. No matter if SWIM smokes or has a hit. Its quite scary for SWIM to think she can inject x amount of heroin and it does NOTHING!

Okay, well it could be the methadone, it could be swiy's tolerance. But, it could also be some sneaky dope dealing. Swim used to buy dope from a guy and the dope became weaker very very gradually as time progressed. Swim thinks this dealer was trying to confuse those who he sold to for them to think they were developing a tolerance. Or maybe he just wanted to see how much "cut" swim would put up with before saying, "hey this is bullshit." Swim doesn't know for sure, but she has seen this trick pulled a few times. So watch out!

SWIM has also seen this from one dealer that he used to go to and he just told him that this is fucking bullshit and SWIM actually brought another bag from another one of his dealers with higher quality shit and told him that it is supposed to be like this and if he didn't start making his bags bigger with less cut, he would stop calling him

the reason SWIM put up with that bullshit dealer for so long is because he delivered

How's this for y'all... SWIMs friend called SWIM to say she just piss tested herself after 3 weeks use of supposed brown... She didn't come up for anything like an opiate. Yet she hasn't clucked once, SWIMs friend did 2 tests to make sure they weren't false results. SWIM has some if the shit gear left over... a teenth in fact... SWIMs friend is a lab rat... SWIM thinks she'll pass it on to him to see if he can test and analyze it..!
