Other - Using Dry Blue Lotus Extract

Swim has some 10x Blue Lotus Dry Extract, but doesn't want to use it with wine as most would do. He knows it can be smoked, which he has done once, without great effect, but wonders if there is a more effective way of doing so, perhaps by making tea or even just swallowing with water like he does with kratom powder say. AnySWIM have experience with this extract? He knows it also comes in resin form but has never got his hands on it.
