Smoking vs IVing dfferences in detox

Hello everyone hope SWIYs are all feeling good today

SWIM has a question that she needs some opinions on.
She has been smoking H for around 3 & a half years now typically around a gram a day. However recently there has been a disruption in her supply so she has been IVing so that it will last a bit longer. One small good thing about this is that her H use has gone right down to about 0.3/0.4g. She has been injecting this for just over a week.
Anyway to get to the point SWIM wants to stop using big time and is getting ready to detox. She is wondering if the detox will be worse because of injecting or maybe not so bad because she is using less H. If SWIYs have any experience of detoxing from both methods SWIM would apprieciate their valuable opinions
Some people are telling SWIM its going to be much much worse however SWIM wonders how this can be possible if she is using less over a longer period of time. Shes very confused

Re: Smoking vs IVing dfferences in detox

when a person smokes h they lose alot of it through the smoke never entering your body as well as unabsorbed smoke thats exhaled. but when heroin is injected a 100% of its going to your brain. so even if your using less heroin now that its being injected, it may be that the same amount or more is now crossing the blood brain barrier. hope that helped some.

Re: Smoking vs IVing dfferences in detox

thanks SWIDRUG-BOT

SWIM thinks she sort of knew that anyway but was looking for some sort of silver lining somewhere
So say by smoking more and injecting less SWIMs body was receiving around the same amount of H, will that make the withdrawls around the same??

^shouldnt be any difference in withdrawls if same amount of heroin is being absorbed, taking into account swims other post up top.
