Diphenhydramine - Antihistamine AND Antiemetic?

SWIM has been using doses of 210mg, and hopped from a 300mg dose two weeks ago to last night's dose, 420mg. SWIM has gotten an itchy patch of rash right above his belly button before, but this time he got extreme robo-itch everywhere. He looked in the mirror this morning and it looked like he'd been mauled by a bear!

Anyway, SWIM just BARLEY cracked through the 2nd plateau's ceiling and to get any further, he needs some kind of drug to counteract this horrible itching. After reading a little, diphendhydramine sounds perfect.
SWIM also got very close to throwing up this time, and got that saliva drip right before you puke. Can diphen really get rid of nausea as well? It seems like it was MADE to treat DXM's side effects.

Also, SWIM got a lot of heat in his face and head, and he could feel his heart beat pretty fast and hard (especially after straining to tear his skin off ). Are these normal effects?
