Mushrooms and Hernias

Does anyone here know of any medicinal use of mushrooms, specifically for inguinal hernias? I have two hernias myself, but my friend also has one of the same nature (inguinal) and he wanted me to research whether or not there were medicinal uses for his circumstances.... he doesn't have the internet.

But yea, any thoughts?
