Keeping liquid in syringe

If a person were to filter heroin through a piece of cotton and then inject half of the amount, how long is it ok to leave the rest in the syringe for later use, or are there any risks or reasons not to leave it? If so how should it be stored until later use or is it garbage for any reason aka go bad? Thank you for your time.

Re: Keeping liquid in syringe

When a person registers, they are pulling blood back into the solution. Sounds like a bad idea.

Re: Keeping liquid in syringe

Even if it's the same person using it, and by a later time I mean anywhere from a few hours to a day at the most.

Cowboy Dan added 2 Minutes and 33 Seconds later...

or what if it was put back into a spoon and re-filtered?

Use two syringes, swim had done that before. One for now and one for later.
But, if one has only one rig, re- filter with a fresh filter.

Re: Keeping liquid in syringe

One would expect that if there was water and air, there would be a potential for bacteria or growth of other microorganisms if left sitting around. Sounds sketchy to swim but admittedly swim has no personal experience whatsoever with needles.

Re: Keeping liquid in syringe

the blood from registering could coagulate if left long enough and has a potential of bateria growing in it. just use two needles or just cook half the heroin, and later on clean the needle and cook the rest.

Re: Keeping liquid in syringe

In swim's experience, the blood will clot and swiy will not be able to get the second half out of the syringe.

Swim would put half into the syringe, shot that, clean the rig, then put the other half in the syringe for later use - should be good for a while.
