Drug Demand in the USA Continues to Invite Terrorism

Perhaps more aptly titled "Drug Prohibition in the USA Continues to Invite Terrorism", in this ape's humble opinion anyway.

Drug Demand in the USA Continues to Invite Terrorism

By Jerry Brewer

Although the sobering wake up call to the U.S. southern border has apparently gone unanswered for the last several years, the message to be played is loud and clear. While a nation hammered out hostilities towards acts of illegal immigration, demanding walls and fences to stop the "people flow," the enemy made end runs around the migrants. The enemies are drug cartels that supply the demand for illicit narcotics, and they are clearly terrorists. The enormous cost of such a "barrier boondoggle" would never justify the means; especially when the terror apparatus knows no limits, nor is it even remotely hindered by border barriers.

Groups pushing for the legalization of drugs relentlessly continue to press for an end to the "war on drugs," claiming that legalization would stop the violence and end the death and destruction. Too, they call the war against drugs useless and highly unsuccessful. However this hedonistic view fails to have the clarity of reality and fact, nor has the focus of the maladies inherent in terror ideology.

Let's examine and separate what is fact from fiction and requires no interpretation, for it is what it is.

Mexican drug cartels are, without question, the most powerful organized criminal organizations of Latin America. A common defensive response to this fact is that "they will go away with drug legalization efforts." The rationale being that the lower prices would drive them out of the business. Secondly, they claim that the "terror" branding of these groups is "big brother's" hype to inflict their own moral standards with their own terrorizing of sorts.

Here is what fiction is not made of. "Islamic terrorist groups are selling arms to Mexican trafficking cartels and collaborating with them to expand revenue via drug sales." The U.S., as many other countries, has been threatened with death and destruction by these terrorist groups now for a couple of decades. Of course, the reality of the actual carnage clearly demonstrates that this is not a figment of anyone's imagination. They refuse to go away until their work is done.

The National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC) reports that information and investigation on narcoterrorism has identified ties between Mexican narcotics traffickers and "elements belonging to foreign organizations designated as terrorists." The tri-border confluence with Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil is well represented with ties to the Palestinians by "the majority of Islamic groups." Elements of Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Palestine Liberation Front for the Liberation of Palestine have been linked as associates of narcotrafficking cartels from Mexico.

The carnage that has been seen by Mexico due to the murder and associated violence by the narcotraffickers desperation and vengeance is graphically illustrated by their superior firepower and strategic tactics. Their main mission, as with terrorists, has been the ritual terrifying of communities into submission and maintaining control of their own members.

The murder of over 5,000 people across Mexico in less than two years, including around 500 police officers and senior officials, have been carried out with a myriad of powerful weapons.

Many of these weapons are being seized and linked to origins in Europe and/or the Middle East. These weapons have been described as those "used by Islamic groups that support the Palestinian cause." Assault rifles, anti-tank/aircraft weapons, rocket propelled grenade launchers, bazookas, and similar warlike weapons are being found and confiscated near the violence.

A Department of Justice document dated 9 May 2006 reported terrorist groups "are getting huge amounts of money from the drugs sold to them mainly by the Mexican narcotics dealers." I think the wise and ostensibly astute can and will conclude that the terrorist's rationale is not in providing the "infidels" a pleasurable recreation.

The Central American gangs, such as the Mara Salvatrucha, that have penetrated U.S. cities primarily for the drug trade and "enforcer" duties for the Mexican cartels, along with elements of the former military Kaibiles of Guatemala, are providing the terror to the U.S. by proxy. Their links in collaboration with the Islamic terrorist groups is officially reported. Traditional U.S. law enforcement is currently no match for this level of superior weaponry and advanced military tactics. Recent captures in Mexico of "cartel hit men" resulted in seizures of fragmentation grenades and bulletproof vests, among other superior firepower.

U.S. cities that are main transshipment points for the cartels are in serious jeopardy. The cartels are angry, they are killing all who stand in their way, as well as innocents. Add the Islamic terrorist apparatus to the equation and the math is done for us.

Re: Drug Demand in the USA Continues to Invite Terrorism

Why don't they just go ahead and say it.

"We need to build a river, to block off anyone from coming to our paradise"

stole from gta4 but still funny. U.S.A is worring to much about illegal immigrants, but I guess it is a problem.

Either way re-legalization. All the way, shut down the gangs and other bullshit. Be what all the founding fathers wanted us a to be, a free country. Prohibition is a failure. It stems from there. What did abe lincoln say.

Honest Abe
"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded."

Abraham Lincoln (1809-65), U.S. President.
Speech, 18 Dec. 1840, to Illinois House of Representative

Watched a interview with a sheriff from south Texas that has a couple of hundred miles of Mexican border. He has 15 officers patrolling with very little federal funding to combat illegal aliens. Said he gets more from the state than the federal bunch.

What needs to be done is that all borders need to be removed. No more lines on the map. As long as there are borders and people do not share then there will be hate and wars. If this is done there will be chaos for years. But in the end the dust will settle and man kind will be better off.

the war on terror is only a lie for more control on us. Lies and Deception will be told to take away our rights, people will follow. It is happening. Don't be with the sheep. Start a Revolution.

Re: Drug Demand in the USA Continues to Invite Terrorism

Anyone with even a high school logic course can run a tractor-trailer truck sideways through the holes in that "news" story. Let's take one small hunk of the detritus shall we?

"The enemies are drug cartels that supply the demand for illicit narcotics, and they are clearly terrorists."

Here we have the presumption that those who grow/manufacture illegal drugs are the "enemy." But the writer offers no further proof. Then he continues with them being "...clearly terrorists." Again we are not offered one iota of proof to this statement. We are to blindly believe in enemies, who then are "terrorists." This sets the stage for the rest of the writer's piece. Statement followed by fuzzy logic - without a bit of proof to back the statement. I've noticed this pattern is very pervasive in the producers of right-wing jingoism. Apparently their audience either dropped out of high school back in the 1960's and 70's - when such courses as logic where occasionally taught in public schools. Or, following Reagan's election and the following decimation of education, simply was dropped from the course load in schools.

Is your kid in public school in the USA? Better start teaching them some basic material to turn on their brains. All anyone who would believe the author of this example of yellow journalism can be expected to do is to blindly parrot what they are told. And, unfortunately, this sums up precisely what American education is currently designed to hand a diploma to - a good, obedient, stupid parrot stooge.

At no point does he ever explain why lower prices would not put cartels out of buisness. All he says, over and over again, is that organised crime has links with terrorism (No Shit, Sherlock) and that it's vewy vewy vwiolent. He seems to think that just because the Mexican Cartels have interactions with Islamic terror groups that they are after the same thing, that being inflicting damage upon America, when this is totaly unsubstantiated. Mexican Cartels couldn't give less of a damn about America, they only want money and the power that comes with it. Is Brewer really trying to insinuate that these guys will continue to supply drugs at a loss simply to try and destroy America? If so they will run out of money very quickly. The argument is so clearly flawed, especially as he presents no possible solution other than the implied one of pouring more money and the lives of L.E. officials down the drain in the pursuit of an impossible Zion.

Schizotypal
Quote:
Schizotypal personality disorder, or simply schizotypal disorder, is a personality disorder that is characterized by a need for social isolation, odd behavior and thinking, and often unconventional beliefs.
[....]
Eventually, the individual learns to see people as harmful and a source of negativity, suffering and ostracization. This leads to the development of "ideas of reference," in which the schizotypal individual believes that events are of special relevance to them or that benign events are somehow related to them (e.g., sees two people laughing and believes that the people are laughing at them). The individual may realize that their ideas of reference are irrational, but maintains them nonetheless. This exacerbates the individual's social anxiety, causing them to skew away from society and withdraw into their own world.
To answer your question: yes, he really does believe that.
