i walked to my walmart the other day and found my self checking out all
the cacti, i was there for DXM though, so i then spent about 30 minutes
and non-suspiciously as possible checking the active ingredients in all
the cough medicine, and trying to compare prices, i kept a bag of halls
in hand at the time just incase (because they contain no dxm).

i figure if anyone bothers me or asks me about it, ill just explain
that i am alergeic to antihistimines and am having trouble finding
something i can take.

anyway then i thought id check out the paint supplies to try and find
amonia and naptha, its then that i realized that if anyone was watching
me they would completely know what i was up to.

and i know from an experience shoplifting when i was a kid, the minute
"some people" walk into walmart they have in store security guards
dressed in normal cloathing, that just follow you around.

now i figure all of this is legal, but i get incredibly paranoid, every
experience iv had with the law has been so incredibly negative it
has made me into a person that feels the need to assume that everyone
in a romo with me is DEA, waiting for me to slip up, or show some sign
of "intention" to slip up.

am i just being paranoid?

funny thing is, my parents are x-pot smokers, totally straight edge
though, have been my whole lief, but they where fine with me a goof.

i used to have really long hair, but that was before i smoked
pot, i used to look like a total stoner before i started smoking
pot.

but now, i only wear normal pants (none of that baggy jnco shit) no band shirts, i cut my hair,

i really hd to do all this because i cant tell you how many times i have been illegally searched.

where i live the cops are real rough, and always come at you in
groups (i guess so that it can be witnesses, and its cop word vs
civilian word) iv heard a lot of talk about them planting things, if
they think im running a meth lab or something, what do you think the
chances of them just raping me over are, even if iv done nothing
illegal.

i think this needs to be talked about on this forum because a lot of
people only seem to ask "is it legal to do this" they dont seem to ask
"how asre the cops going to break the law to bust me"

thats what really makes me paranoid, because iv seen it with my own eyes, and there seems to be nothing to stop it.

i cant even begin to tell you how many times cops have broken the law on me.

well iv never been beaten, but i have had them tell me to go fuck my
self when i asked for a badge number, iv had them pull me out of groups
and search me infront of people with absolutely no cause, iv never
personally had anyhting planted on me btu i know people that have, and
i dont mean fools, i dont associate with thugs and gangsters and moron
types. i was once kicked out of my apartment and when i told them that
i they have to give me a 30 day notice, and file eviction papers with
the court, and they just called the police and had them threaten me. at
the time i knew that legally i didnt have to step outside, but i was
scared of what theyd do to berak the law (this is also the cop that
told me to go fuck off when i asked for his badge number).

fact of the matter is im in a bad financial state, i cant afford to
take people to court, i cant afford justice, and besides, even if i had
the best lawyers in the world its still going to be word against word,
who are they gonna believe?

With all the focus on pseudoephedrine purchases I doubt you will attract any attention, but it'snever a good idea to buy everything at once like that. Make more than one trip or go to another storeand take your time.

Just don't buy in large questionable quantities and buy products that
are related to what you are getting (if you buy paint supplies, buy
some paint brushes or paint).

Maybe the security guards are different, but from the standpoint of
someone who has worked in retail stores: stockboys, baggers, check-out
clerks, etc... don't give a shit what you are doing. They don't get
paid enough to give a damn. Even if they are paying enough attention to
notice you are doing something shady it's not like they are going to
confront you.

Just be sure to pay in cash, and never use one of those customer discount cards.

unico, . I've seen 13 year olds buy
blunt wraps at my local dollar store (and if they're the type of dollar
store that carries blunt wraps...you've got the right place).

Never buy in bulk. Most of the time they won't even let you. When I go
in to buy Theraflu thin strips for a dxm trip, I normally take 6 boxes,
so I divide it up into 3 trips buying 2 boxes at a time. I'll do it all
in the same store, but just go to a different cashier each time. Even
if they do notice you coming back in and buying more, they can't do
anything but refuse to sell it to you. It's not illegal to buy DXM
containing products. Sure, they may know what you are up to, but they
can't prove anything.

Well, let's say SWIM worked at a certain notorious retail store... SWIM
can offer this advice for buying "questionable" merchandise:

-ISBN is right that most people in the store don't really care what you
do, there's always exceptions, but still. SWIM worked salesfloor
for awhile, and didn't really pay that much attention to what the
customers did.

-Technically, just buying DXM, pseudoephedrine, or whatever is doing
nothing wrong... people buy them all the time for perfectly legit
reasons, so again, most employees won't notice. Just don't be
stupid and try to buy mass quantities or certain things together, like
pseudo and a bunch of matches, for instance.

-Not everyone knows about DXM or the exact ingredients used to make
certain chemicals.

*Note on above post: Buying certain items will bring
up a prompt on the register for the cashier to check if the buyer is
over 18 (pseudoephedrine, Robitussin Max Strength are 2 that I know of).

-Undercover Security People: yes, they are there, but there aren't as
many as you would probably think, and they aren't around all the
time. They also do more than just follow people around the store
(lots of paperwork involved with that job).

*Some tips to avoid attention, they're trained to look for certain things, so:

-Dress "normal", try to look professional or whatever. Whenever they're
watching someone, it's usually punkass kids or grungy hobo-looking people.

-Go into the store at a busy hour, they can't keep an eye on everyone.

-Go on a day that you have other shopping to do, buying some DXM
product with bread, shampoo, dog food, etc. is a lot less suspicious.

-The big thing they really watch for is people acting "weird", nervousness
can lead to suspicious behavior (always looking around [for people watching
you or whatever] for example).

-Stay in the open, they also watch for people who go back into corners
and remote areas of the store and stuff.

-Store-hopping is a good idea if you have the time (SWIM doesn't like
to buy more than one DXM product at a time). SWIM has a method of
buying 'chemistry products' - IE, Store1: ammonia, acetone, a few
extras (some candy, bread, etc), Store2: distilled H20, iodine, extras,
Store3: matches, lighter fluid, extras... etc, etc. Group things
so they won't be suspicious and all.

-DON'T SHOPLIFT: that's really about the only way you're going to get
in trouble, and that's the one thing that a lot of employees will
report if they have suspicion (more shoplifting = lower bonus check).

I work at Wally World. The loss prevention associates are often ex-cops. That gives you a whole new outlook on things doesn't it? They spend their whole day following you at a distance. So don't be suprised if they hang around certain supplies that they know of to be of certain uses. At my place of work, both of the loss prevention associates are ex-cops. The company is very self protective of lawsuits, and so doesn't just hire anybody for the job.

Sorry I had to do that, Afroman, but we cannot advocate obviously illegal behavior here. It falls under the catagory of self-incrimination. Please be more careful. This forum is, most likely, being monitored by police agencies.

A good attorney probably could have gotten you at least a $60K settlement of which 1/3 would go toward his (better in your case if it's a "her") fee.

That means you could have collected a cool $40,000.00

.
