Experiences - Pickles lost his mind

So my jamjar cat decided one day that he wanted to try out some salvia in hope of experiencing a true "journey" instead of just a "trip."
Being a cat stuck inside a jamjar all his life he didn’t really get to do a whole lot of things, thus he used Phsycadelic drugs to help pass the time and make life more interesting. Needless to say he is a bit of a veteran when to comes to substances of this nature.
So moving on, My jamjar cat (pickles from now on) asked me to do him a favour and Hook up his telepathic brain link to the computer so that he could surf the web using his mind, looking for a trust worthy source in which to order some Salvia.
Eventually he came across a site that he thought to be perfect in terms of price, apparent quality, and delivery times, and he proceeded to order himself 1g of organic extract.
Coincidently at some point in the past I had been doing a bit of reading about sally herself and had come to know of the different strengths and their potencies, thus I took it upon myself to inform pickles that it would be wise to start off with a lower extract so that he may "attune" himself to this beautiful sage accordingly, instead of just jumping right in there.
But, typically I was too late with my advice and pickles had ordred 1g of Salvia Organic Extract 45X, and an additional gram of Salvia Zone Infinity (blue). He said that he wanted to sample various brands to get an idea of his aquired taste, much like a fine wine pickles commented.
Eventually, some days later the mail man turned up at my door with two small packages entitled "Pickles the jamjar Cat, bla bla bla yada yada yada"
Knowing that these were to be pickles' Salvia packages I took them over to his wonky old his and gave 3 small taps upon his jar to wake him form his slumber.
Needless to say pickles was delighted and ordered me to retrieve his bong for him, and load up a bowl full of some salvia infinity.
Refusing to full up the whole gauze I got out my scales and weighed up a sufficient amount for a 1st timers "hit", referring to these forums for information on dosage, and explaining to pickles that if he really wants to enjoy his time with sally it would be wise to sort of "climb the ladder" and take it one level at a time. Reluctantly He nodded, and agreed.
Popping his head out of the jamjar, pickles wrapped his lips around the bongs nozzle and proceeded to inhale as I lit up the bowl with a laser gun.
After observing pickles hold in the smoke for a good 30 seconds or more I could see that he was disappointed. he told me that he could feel nothing and commanded me to fill the bowl this time.
I did so, and he once again began to cream up the bong, ripping it with tremendous force and then holding the smoke in for a good 20-30 seconds before he exhaled.
This time i could see that there was something different going on here, pickles kept shouting out loud "why do you want me to look to the left?" - "what’s wrong with looking in other places, why only the left?"
He did this for no more than 2-3 minutes before he shook his head franticly and blubbered the words "shit i just took some salvia, what the hell."
After he had sobered up a bit and calmed down I asked pickles what it was like, what was going through his mind.
All he could tell me was that shortly after exhaling he knew nothing anymore, he knew not that he had that very second taken a hit of salvia, he knew not of his name or who he was, what he was, where he was, what he was even seeing, what seeing even meant, all he knew was to look to the left.
What I am asking is whether this is normal or not?
Is it common to lose all control over your body for a short period of time?
is it common to instantly forget that you have just smoked salvia?
And is it common to Constantly hear a woman’s voice talking to you? Like physically hear a voice, clear as day?
All i can say is that despite only lasting 3 mins, that was one hell of a messed up trip, and I think salvia has a whole lot more to offer, I just think that maybe Pickles took a bit too much.
I'll be encouraging him to "tame the beast" if you will, try to help him regulate his mind with this salvia so that he is capable of lucid thought process whilst in the trance like state.
Hopefully one day Pickles will be able to use salvia for great inner discovery, and meditation. Some tips that could help pickles reach that road would be much appreciated. Perhaps some reassurance.
