TEK - coke not drying up fully after acetone wash

Hi,

the last couple of times swim has done an acetone wash, but the stuff isnt drying as well as it was before? swim does keep it in small chunks while drying and breaks them up too again and again because it doesnt dry fully, it stays a bit gummy.

before swim used to just wash it, than squeeze and let it dry all in chunks and it looked beautiful, but now its all weird and looks like pieces of gum.

Is there another drying method?

Currently swim is just taking the stuff after acetone wash, and squeezing it through filter onto paper towel, than leaving it under a warm/med. hot lamp for 10-20minutes. swim has even let it sit out for over 12+ hours and still didnt dry up fully and cant even crush up to fine powder.

Is your acetone anhydrous??

Could be humidety. Too much moisture in the air can have an effect in the drying process. One might consider putting an absorbent like Silica gel in the bottom of a large container and setting the substance that needs drying on a plate inside that container ontop of the absorbent, then seal the container air tight. should pull most of the moisture out of it in a day or so, maybe less. Just my suggestion.

grandma dosent have the money for coke which i assure you is probably alot more expensive then where most of you are from so forgive me if im wrong but generaly dosent an acetone wash leave cocaine in a nice powdery state?

I would assume that your dealor(or his dealor,or his dealors dealor) is cutting with a substance that isnt soluble in acetone,leaving behind a stickyness.

Well the coke SWIM has been washing has been grade A........It's pure white and has that "shine" or what SWIM calls "pearl" effect when under a light..........For SWIM's consumption, SWIM washes to take the burning sensation away and just for piece of mind...........When washing a gram, SWIM ends losing less than .1.............Yes, it is then left fluffy and powdery..........SWIM isn't impatient and lets it dry overnight and hasn't had any problems

buddy theirs a cut that i can get a hold of that has those flakey pearlescent chunks that make the coke look pure as can be..dont be fooled fella. do some research about the coke nowadays
