Smoking - Heroin Cigarette

Swim read a post about smoking heroin in cigarettes and was wondering if the following statement is true..

"Just Inject heroin into a normal cigarette and let it dry out and then smoke it as normal, don't offer one to your mother! "

Obviously this method is fairly wasteful..

But would this work or is it a complete waste?

If this is false is there any better ways of mixing heroin with a cigarette?

Swim would have to say that he is almost positive that heroin would be destroyed by the heat of the cigarette ember. That would be why people have to vaporize it on tinfoil in order to smoke the heroin properly.

However, somewhere on these boards (can't think of where, it wa a while ago) someone mentioned that although they were aware that the heat would destroy the heroin (Swim believes it was cocaine in the post he is referencing), they believed that it still produced an effect. They believed that as the cigarette burned the ember would vaporize the heroin right below the ember. Sorry if that doesn't paint the best picture but it was the only way he could figure out how to word it.

I understand the concept of the ember vaporising the Heroin, but does anyone know for sure wether the Heroin Cigarette will work??

SWIM's never done thatw with a cigarette, but once him and three of his friends laced a 4 gram blunt with 2 stamp bags and felt some pleasant effects. Nothing like a full-on dope high, but a pleasant opiate euphoria that synergized lovely with the ganja. Definately some effect but SWIM felt it was a waste of dope overall. SWIM would much rather just snort the heroin.

Hi SWITripsBalls, SWIM watched a TV program where a GP licensed to prescribe diamorphine to addicts in the UK used a method of injecting it into cigarettes and letting them dry out before giving the addicts a certain number they were able to use each day. The addicts were able to stop using illicit heroin so we can assume a fair amount got into the system this way, it would be very wasteful, even more so than chasing and is probably only of use if someone wanted to use in a situation where they had to be very discreet. SWIM would rather shoot it or chase it, smoking either in cigarettes or joints isn't suitable for regular use but can be OK when it's not possible to do the other two.
