Books on Psilocybin Therapy
Does anyone know any good books on psilocybin and psilocin therapy, I tried using the search engine but only found a thread with books on how to grow shrooms, but nothing on it's therapeutic uses.

From my understanding, research has just begun on that subject so I'm not sure if any books on the matter would yet exist. A brief google search and amazon search turned up a little - it seems some of these books touch on the subject but are not focused on it.

If I recall correctly, MAPS should have published two books on psilocybin / psychedelic research recently. I can't find the books online, but it seems to have been offered at the World Psychedelic Forum.

They where two black, but pricey books. If I remember correctly, you got them if you donated a substantial amount to MAPS. Ask Shampoo if he knows about them.

I have not encountered either of these books, and have been actively digging through the bookshelves at the MAPS office. There are a few MAPS sponsored books dealing with mushrooms, but they focus primarily on cultivation, history, and non-medical use. The current MAPS studies with psilocybin in development all deal with the treatment of cluster-headaches. There are a few studies in progress already that address the role of psilocybin in treating anxiety. As for offering books for donation, MAPS does do this, but the only books available are 'LSD: My Problem Child', 'Ketamine: Dreams and Realities', 'The Secret Chief: Revealed', 'Drawing It Out', and 'The Ultimate Journey', none of which deal with Psilocybin therapy. I will make an official inquiry tomorrow, as you have stimulated my curiosity in this.
