Dose - Diazepam for recreation

I have some left over 5mg of Diazepam from a while back when i had muscle spasms...

I never took any more than the recommended dose.

I was curious i got about 10 of them left, is there any recreational use to them? What kind of effects does it give if it does?

If so if anyone knows.... for a first timer on it, what would be the recommended MG to use. this information might help. I'm a little larger guy,
6'3" 250. I've heard that your size can matter.

If anyone has anything on it, would appreciate the input... last thing if theres any serious side effects you know of... let me know those too haha. if minors dont worry about it.

My fiend loves diazepam and thinks there is a lot of recreational value in them. If there is 10 x 5mg tablets then there is 50mg there which would produce a really prominent effect, especially if the person has very little or no tolerance to them. If that is the case then my fiend thinks a good starting does for recreational effects is about 30mg (6 x 5mg) and see how that goes.

After that there should be a better understanding of the dosage which can always be added to but not taken away once they have been consumed, unless they were immediately thrown up which would be completely pointless. Once the effects kick in almost fully then trying to throw up will not have a significant effect, if any at all.

I read somewhere that if you let them dissolve in your mouth to a paste form then swallow it, that its effects appear more quickly. true? any other benefit from taking it that way?

The flamingo would disagree with Solinari's suggestion that 30mg would be a good starting recreational dose.

Assuming the OP's meerkat has been taking 5mg as a therapeutic dose then multiplying that by six for a first recreational dose seems excessive, and could result in oversedation +/- amnesia

Why not start with 10mg and see how things go? Meerkats can always take more, they can never take less.

Sublingual administration of benzodiazepines is effective, and does seem to produce a quicker onset of action. There are several threads covering this in more detail

SWIM just swallowed 4 10mg diazepams, so 40mg. And SWIM wont feel it untill.....they take 3-5 more, and blaze a little.
i find that once i smoke, or dirnk (as long as its only like 1 or 2 beers) thats when they kick in.
however, if youve never really used benzos (or diazepam, to be more specific) you can feel it will like 20mg.

If you went to your psychiatrist and asked for valium for anxiety, youd probably get 5mg. So it seems like so much when you 40mg, or 90mg, but its all about tolerance. and moderation.
