Dose - Clonazepam

I just got my new Clonozapam 2mg # 90 filled today and the pharmacy I got them from I thought had the ones that read the fancy E over 65 2 mg ones. But i got the whtie circle's 93 over 834. Anyway.. I took 2 and a half barz(xanax), which is equal to 7 blue footballs or 7mg. Fri and Sat nite and was totally wrecked, I don't remember much and and was told I was acting very wrecked. Now today I took 9 of those 2mg Klonopins and if the charts are correct, Alprazolam and Clonozopam are the same streghth essentially. But they had no effect on on me at all. Then I took another 18 about 2 hours ago and so far he feels nuthing. This makes no sence to me, any thoughts??

Best to avoid self incrimination, anyway it is not uncommon for the effects of benzodiazepines to be drastically reduced when taking large amounts 2 days in a row, it certainly happens to my fiend and i imagine it will happen to others. I doubt it has anything to do with the brand.

That said, it is often the case that someone believes them self to be unaffected or less prominent effects when in reality they are quite inebriated.

Sounds like your CNS is quite familiar with benzodiazepines. Remember, there is a cross-tolerance, ie: develop a tolerance to one benzo, and you've developed a tolerance to all benzos.

As for your clonazepam situation, Swim has learned with that specific benzo, in his exp. at least, that one may be "intoxicated" (for lack of a better word) without realizing it. Boy, did swim make an ass of himself at last year's x-mas party because of that!

Remember, if you don't respect the drug you're using, well...that's how unfortunate accidents happen. Please be careful, and try to cut back. Anyone that can handle a whole 2mg alprazolam bar (just for kicks, not medically)...wow. Swim sleeps for 2 days on those!
