Kratom as a clubbing aid

Some friends of mine are going to Spain for a holiday, they wanted to know if Kratom would be good to keep them up, as a mild XTC substitude (none of them do pills)?
None of them have eaten Kratom before but hear it keeps one up and euphoric? They may order some Bali as there shouldnt be a problem with police and the likes in airports as its not controlled.
What do you think? Or is it totally different kind of euphoria more like chilled than bangin? (Sorry for the porr explainations... Not sure how to descibe feelings!)
Experiences and/or advice very much appreachiated.
